Troye's pov

"What did I say? Hands out." He barks, fuming as he glares down at me.

I sit up immediately and hold my wrists out, showing him my surrender.

"I'm sorry, Master." I whimper, wincing and looking away from him as he draws in closer.

"You will be. I've gotta refresh your memory on what happens when you disobey me."

Waking up in a fit of tears and sheets of cotton and sweat, I pant for air and squeeze my eyes shut. Not again. Not this again. Why does this keep happening?

"Are you alright?" Jay asks, making me look up to see him in the doorway from the kitchen, buttoning up his shirt.

I swallow down a shaky breath, nodding and slowly letting out a shallow sigh.

"You know I gotta go, right?" He questions, his voice low and seemingly dull as he sits down on the bed next to me.

I nod, "Yeah, it's okay... Don't worry about me."

I weave my fingers through my hair and shut my eyes again, trying my best to calm down, my entire body shaking the slightest.

"I do worry."

"J-just go, Jay, you have priorities, responsibilities." I utter, guilt seeping into my chest as my words sit in the air.

He nods and stands up, retrieving his mobile from the bedside table, "Call me if you need me."

"I'll be fine." I assure him.

He murmurs an okay, kisses my sweaty mop of curls, and heads off. I'm able to hear the sound of him falling quite miserably and groaning at the impact, making me sigh and tug at my curls. These walls are once again the only things listening to me.

"Please help me." I whisper.
