𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐆𝐀𝐒-𝐌𝐀𝐒𝐊𝐄𝐃 men and woman had the Doctor and his companions surrounded. The adrenaline was pumping through their veins and it was a moment where they all believed they were about to become the monsters surrounding them.

Then, the Doctor stepped forward with his chest puffed out and his large nose turned down as they drew closer.

He sucked in a long breath before shouting, "Go to your room."

The gas-masks all hesitated, staring through their goggles at the strange man who spoke down at them. Their empty eyes stared on, watching him with a way to make their skin crawl.

"Go to your room!"

Their heads cocked to the side in confusion.

"I mean it! I am very, very angry with you. I am very, very cross! Go. To. Your. Room!" he shouted. He threw his arm out and pointed in no particular direction to get his point across.

The gas-masks stood another moment, processing his words before their shoulders slumped and they returned to their cots.

The three humans behind the Doctor relaxed their tense muscles. Rose took her place beside the Doctor, holding onto the back of his jacket to hide her shaking hands.
