"Where are you going if I may ask?" I questioned when Jade walked out of the bathroom after being in there for a good twenty minutes. She walked away in our olive green uniform, and walked out on a short pink satin dress, and these matching heels. She placed the duffel bag she was carrying down on the counter that we cleaned a while ago. Jade did a spin. "Do I look good?" She asked. I nodded. "Well, duh. Have you not seen yourself? You look amazing. That doesn't answer my question. It's a Friday night. Are you going out and didn't give me an invite because ouch.."

The unbreakable smile on Jade's face turned into a big grin. She clapped her hands together. "I didn't want to jinx anything so I haven't been telling you anything, but-" she paused and my eyes widened. I had a feeling what she was going to say had something to do with Liam. "I mustered up the courage to chat with Liam and it worked in my favor! We've been chatting it up, and went out for some ice-cream last week, but he wants to take me out tonight. He'a picking me up from work." I couldn't believe that I actually squealed, but I did. I also jumped up and down clapping.

"Are you nervous?" I asked.
"No. I was extremely nervous when we went for ice-cream because that was the first time we were alone besides when I'd be with Soph, and she'd go off to the bathroom and we'd be left alone for a couple of minutes.. but when he picked me up last week, he started talking to
me and I was suddenly not nervous anymore. It was amazing." She was glowing.
"Well, I'm happy for you."

No one was going to knock the smile off of Jade's face.

Zayn was sat on the stairs of his house when I got back. I made my way across the street. He looked up from his phone, and smiled. "Well, don't you look ravishing," he winked. I laughed, and did a spin that ended in a pose. One hand on my head, the other on my hip. "I know. I'm captivating.. especially with the smell of overly buttered popcorn lingering in my hair," I leaned in and kissed him on his lips.

"So, what have you been getting yourself into on this lovely Friday night?" I sat down beside him. "Well, I was looking up places for us to have our little getaway. What are your thoughts on a cabin in the woods?"

"Sounds like you want to murder me," I joked.
Zayn laughed, and shook his head. "Well, I tried to be secretive about it.." I nudged him.
"I'm serious though, Lauren. I found a nice cabin. It's two bedrooms, two baths, a living area and a kitchen. There are lakes nearby. We'll have a good time. What do you say?" I took his hand in mine, and looked at him with a smirk. "I say wherever you go I'll follow." He smiled, bringing my hand up to his lips and kissing them.

July 27th, 2015

"Enjoy your movie," I smiled handing a group of obnoxious boys their large popcorn after they dropped the first bucket wrestling one another. Once they walked away I released the fake smile I was housing and rolled my eyes. I noticed Jade rushing in. "Do they know I'm late?" She questioned, placing her bag underneath the counter beside mine. "Well, I'd say due to the fact you are an hour late and they came in looking for you three times.. I'd say there is a possibility."

"How were things with Liam?" I asked her while she clocked herself in on the computer. She turned to me with a smirk. "Phenomenal. I think I'd be crazy to say I'm in love.. but maybe I'm insane. We spent the entire weekend with one another, and I went out for breakfast with him which explains why I was late."

"And guess who is joining you on your cabin getaway? Me! Liam invited me while we were at breakfast. He said he's unbelievably smitten with me. It's all happening for me. Thanks to you for encouraging me to stop being such a chicken shit. Thank you, Lauren." She threw her arms open and went for a hug that of course I returned. "You're welcome." Jade knelt down to grab her visor. My eyes widened when I saw Sophia walking through with two girls I'd seen at her disastrous party a while back. I patted Jade on her shoulder. "What?" she asked, popping back up.
