"Are you seriously majoring in biochemistry?" Jackson said with a sour face. A snicker escaped my lips, slightly jostling him towards the metal lockers. "What? I'm just saying, such a nerd." He grimaced securing his books tightly with one arm.
"Nerd? Tough luck Wangster, you're just jealous I'm majoring in that course." I mockingly said, nudging his rib cage. "I'm 19, I can do whatever is willingly to make me learn new things."
"Whatever, why do I have a best friend like you?" He muttered coherently. I rolled my eyes and smirked at Jackson, who seemed to not dare give me a single spare of his glance.
"Well that best friend saved your ass from the bullies, in middle school. And you were the first to befriend me, not me, remember?" I said nonchalantly.
Jackson let out a long and low groan; detested to be evoked by his middle school tragic past — about the two older and towering bullies that provoked the young Jackson Wang, who had no intentions of fighting back for his own safety and you of course saving the day.
"Shut up! I don't want to be reminded by that horrible memory! I was only a 12 young brainless and confused boy, okay? I had just recently transferred to that middle school from China and didn't have any clue about the Korean culture and language! So those two bullies got the chance to target me as their victim." He hissed while frowning.
I sniggered at his little frown. We kept making our way to the canteen, where we'll be assembling with two other of our great friends. Jackson didn't say a word on the way, which nonplussed you; since he was an extremely blithe and loquacious person.
As soon as we arrived inside the canteen and walked towards our regular table that we considerably assigned ourselves to sit at, 'till the end of the school year.
Jackson and I were greeted by bam bam and amber. The two guys both did their infamous handshake as you and amber got right into mustering up a short conversation about life.
"Yo, Yo bro!" Bam Bam said with snapping his fingers and puckering lips. Amber shot him a peculiar look. "What can I not act like a cool man, mannn!" Bam Bam pouted, but only choked on his giggles.
"Dude, you're being abnormal, just stop. Seems like someone was snooping into some drug dealers' cocaine.. once again." Amber said readjusting her cap. Jackson let out a loud cackle, pointing a finger at Bam Bam, who just sat there bewildered.
"I have never, and I mean never- never ever, never ever- never ever, never ever say never, never ever, nev—"
"Just get to the damn point you annoying snake!?" Jackson said in an piqued tone. Bam bam only giggled like a little high school girl, and went back to proceeding with his sentence.
"I have never, snorted cocaine in my life. What you talkin 'bout mate?" Bam Bam said with a hint of a mendacious tone. I rolled my eyes on how dishonest he can be, we've known him since middle school years, all three of us can see through his white lies.
"Stop being a pesky two-faced bam." Jackson said thwacking the back of the young boys' head. The latter let out a loud yelp of pain, holding his head in protection.
"Yah Jackson I think that was a little too far with your—" An ear-piercing scream slashed through my ear, making all four of us cover our ears.
"What the fuck!? Are the girls finally realizing they will never have a man in their life?!" Bam and Jackson both said in unison, while screaming at the top of their lungs.
Amber and I both let out, guffawing at their response of the screeching and screams coming from mostly the entire female population in the school.
After the cafeteria slowly started to become quieter, susurration were heard going around by students, mostly girls cause they looked as if they're about to pass out by whatever they're looking at.
"It's BTS, they're finally here!!" A girl screeched in a hushed tone to the girl next to her. My brows knitted in confusion on whom this BTS person was.
My eyes followed the girls' gaze as it fell upon seven handsome boys formed in a line, they just stood there in front of the canteen's entrance, cooly looking around their surroundings with their sharp gaze.
Amber leaned in towards you whispering you something. "They're probably the seven deadly sins, I can feel it in the air." She joked and I cracked a smile.
The whole surrounding was still and silent, the seven boy's eyes were darting to every person, averting their gazes until one boy's eyes landed on me, a devilish smirk crawling up his lips.
He had extremely icy blue eyes that looked all too familiar with me. The boy whispered something into his friends' ear as if plotting something.
I gulped nervously. Just as his friend nodded they turned around to take their leave, but I swore on my life — seeing it crystal clear that his eyes glowed bright blue as he mouthed the words...
"It's her."
