Jungkook's POV
The room was too quiet. Red still flashed form the midst while I sat still and motionless. Footsteps—more like running ones—echoed the corridor making their way into the room.
I looked up and saw the door slamming right open, revealing Jimin sweaty and covered in blood.
"We have to go." The older male said making his way towards me and breaking the chains with all the energy he's got left. "If we don't then we'll be in much more trouble." Jimin dragged me right off the chair and ran, while I equaled his pace.
"Wait! What about Haeri and Taehyung?" I suddenly halted us in our tracks. Jimin quickly turned around breathing heavily, sweat running down his glistening forehead.
"We can't get to them now, they're not in this area anymore and I can sense Junghyun's pack arriving here to wipe the two of us out." With that he ran again while I started to feel a bit anxious.
Loud growls and falling objects echoed down the corridor, as we fastened our pace.
Seeing the exit just up ahead, the both of us escaped quickening our runs. I turned around and saw three giant wolves chasing after us. I knew it was my brother's pack members.
I turned back around looking up ahead again. As we entered through an unknown forest, swerving around trees and logs.
The full moon rose to it's spot, as I felt my bones start to crack an ache. The pain was slowing me down as I felt everything inside of me burn.
I gotta keep running.
I told myself trying to catch up to Jimin who's just inches away from me. I knew it's time for me to transform, but not right now, I needed to run out of there.
The clothes I've worn were now ripping apart as my muscles grew and hair was growing faster. I grit my teeth in anger, knowing I can't stop from turning into my true self.
Jimin noticed it and grabbed my hand, running in every direction to confuse the chasing werewolves from behind.
Soon we had lost them, but I was still groaning from the agonizing pain that was engulfing my whole body.
"It fucking hurts what the hell." I leaned against the tree while it gradually continued. Jimin sighed while shaking his head.
"I've gone through it too, and you'll just have to suffer like the rest of us for about ten more seconds." Jimin reassures with a gentle smile, looking out for anyone that had spotted us two. "Besides once you get used to it. Then you'll be transforming into a wolf in no time."
I rolled my eyes heavily breathing, trying calm my racing heart down. After a moment of silence, the pain stopped, my hairy arms and face started to disappear and my muscles became normal—not so tensed up anymore.
As we walked in the night, I heard a a stick being broken in half quickly alerting the two of us. "Quick behind me." Jimin whispered. I obliged and faced my back to his. "If you see anything just attack." Jimin said and I nodded.
After a brief moment, from the corner of my eye I spotted a silhouette figure coming out behind one of the farthest trees away from us. I frowned, tilting my head to the side.
Who are you?
I thought, my only focus and attention was on the person who seemed to stay still, not attacking in a way. That was when noticed the person wearing a dark black cloak, to hide themselves from our view.
Their small gentle smile was the only I could make out from the moon light. I felt extremely puzzled—confused—in any way. Until I saw them mouthing two words, making my eyes widened in shock.
