Chapter 34

{Alana's POV}
We interviewed Matt Espinosa to set these rumours straight. Is Alana cheating on Shawn? Keep reading to find out what we got!

"The rumours are true. Alana is a cheater, she came on to me very strongly and threatened to ruin my career if I said anything to Shawn. Of course, I told Shawn. I mean he's my best friend. I couldn't let him carry on with Lana after knowing she would cheat on him" Matt said in an interview. He told us that Lana tried to kiss him and even went as far as to say she tried to have sex with him.

This is all we have on this story for now, we're trying to get in contact with Alana and Shawn so keep in touch for regular updates!

"Shawn, I didn't cheat on you!" I said

"I know you didn't, Lana. But I don't know how to make everyone else believe you" he sighed. I sent out a tweet to try and clear some things up. I went into notes and wrote out what I wanted to say.

@LanaDeyes:
I just want to clear a few things. I did not cheat on Shawn, and I would never cheat on anybody, I don't know why that has been said. There is an explanation for this but I don't think me, Shawn or Matt are ready for that to be out on the internet just yet. This just goes to show that you shouldn't believe everything you see on the internet.

I hit send and instantly got a load of responses from drama pages and magazines. There were a mix of different responses. Some backing me, some backing Matt and some asking for the explanation. I wasn't ready to tell the police so I don't think putting it over the internet would help. I saw Shawn tweeted something so I clicked on it to see what he wrote

I smiled and rested my head on Shawn's shoulder. My phone vibrated again and I saw Matt tweeted something

I scoffed and replied to him

He didn't reply after that message but he did text me

You think I would let you get away with making lies up about me cheating?

I'm sorry, but people were finding out what happened between us two

What? The fact you raped me?

Well they were suspecting we had sex and I couldn't say that could I!?

I ignored the message but screenshotted it. This would help with a lot of things.

"Lana, I think you should tell people what happened. He's making up lies and nobody will trust you until you give them a reason to" Shawn said.

"You're right. I'll record it and put it on my YouTube in a few days, when I'm ready" he nodded and I grabbed my camera. I pressed record and sat down on my bed

"Hi, guys. So this isn't scripted or anything so if I mess up, I'm sorry" I smiled weakly and took a deep breath "I haven't uploaded in almost a year but this needs to be said. Your 'idol' is not who you think. I guess you really can hide yourself behind a screen" I went on with the video and explained exactly what happened. The video was 20 minutes long which is long for me but I didn't want to edit too much. I just edited out where I stuttered a lot or there was a long pause.
