Hiashi Hyuuga.
Anyone who was anyone knew who he was.
The head of the Hyuuga clan, father of Hinata and Hanabi Hyuuga.
And well... He was headed towards the Uchiha compound. And what he was going to do was very risky. Very risky indeed.
He arrived at the home of Fugaku and Mikoto Uchiha, and knocked.
The door slid open, revealing Fugaku.
"Hiashi. What an honor. What brings you here?" Fugaku greeted.
"Ahem. Pleasure to see you again Fugaku. I have some business to discuss, may I come inside?" Hiashi spoke.
"Sure sure, come on inside old friend." Fugaku smiled.
Hiashi smiled as well. Those two were on the same squad growing up, and they were good old friends.
"Fugaku, who's at the door?" Mikoto's distracted voice spoke as she was busy preparing dinner in the kitchen.
"Hiashi." Fugaku spoke lightly as the duo went into another room.
Kneeling down, Fugaku went straight to the point.
"What is it that you want to discuss?"
Hiashi inwardly sighed, he didn't know how this meeting was going to end.
"As you know, the Hyuuga has a special person in the clan. One that can tell the future."
Fugaku raised an eyebrow. He already knew about this, so what was Hiashi getting at? Nevertheless, after Hiashi paused, he motioned him to continue.
"And well... She has seen the future of your son. Your son Sasuke will die in 11 years if this is not done. Normally we wouldn't marry outside our clan, but seeing our past relationship, I would like to make an exception. In order to save your sons life, I grant my eldest daughters hand in marriage." Hiashi spoke.
Fugaku's eyes widened in surprise.
"So, the marriage between our children will save Sasuke's life?"
"Yes, because of politics and the ranks, his life will be spared if this is done."
Fugaku thought about it for a minute. It was risky, since Sasuke was an Uchiha and all. But Hiashi was his friend, his best friend, he wouldn't lie to him.
"Alright." Fugaku agreed.
