Chapter 15- What Do

"What..."

"Loosing.... Get the..."

Hinata couldn't move, her head was pounding, sounds were fading and then rebounding back, but still she couldn't make out what the people were saying.

"Hurry..! We're..... We're... Loosing her..... "

"Sakur.... Someone ge..."

"We..."

'What's going on?' A single thought bounced around in Hinata's head, repeating itself every now and then.

"O.. Okaa-San.."

'Huh? Who's saying that?' Hinata wondered, she wasn't sure what was going on.

"N-Neji-Nii...-San.."

Hinata succumbed to a fit of coughs, throat unbelievably dry and realizing it was her who was talking.

"Quickly! Someone get water!"

Gasping for air, Hinata sat up, tearing off the oxygen mask off her face and panting as she looked down at her mask bearing hands.

Hinata noticed not long after someone was holding a glass of water in front of her, and without another word she tore it from the person's grip and hastily gulped it down, pausing for a moment afterwards to calm down. She noticed all the nurses and doctors were leaving, checking some things here and there before they left.

"Hah.." Hinata sighed, letting the cool water go down her throat.

"Ano.." Hinata looked up, wearily and tired as if she aged a good amount of years all of a sudden.

"Thanks Kiba..."

"Hey Hinata.."

"Hm?"

"What the hell happened?"

Hinata glanced back down, trying to decide in an answer.

"I-I don't know... All I can remember is reading that letter, start to finish.." Hinata's bottom lip began to tremble as more memories poured in, including the painful parts. Especially the painful parts.

"Hinata-" "Excuse me sir, I'm sorry but visiting hours are over, it's simply bad luck she only just woke up, but you'll be able to visit tomorrow." A nurse interrupted, carrying a clipboard.

"Hah? Isn't she being discharged? She's stable enough isn't she?"

"Considering she almost lost her life twice she's going to stay the night to rest up and we can watch over her if anything happens."

Grumbling Kiba gave in and turned to Hinata.

"Well, I guess I'll be going. I'll see you tomorrow." Kiba left the room, casting a wary look at the nurse.

"Alright, I'm going, sheesh." Hinata could hear Kiba grumble at the nurse. She giggled.

"Mmm hm hm hmmm hm hmm hmhmhmhmhmhm..." Hinata woke up to the sound of humming, seeing the nurse from the day before fixing her pillows as she opened her eyes.

"Oh, you're up~! That's good, we ran all the tests already so you're free to go whenever you want, as long as it's sometime today and you make sure you sign out~" The nurse winked at the groggy bluenette.

"Oh... Uhm..."

"Hm?"

"Wh-What was that tune you were humming earlier? It sounded.. Nice, I've never heard it before though." Hinata sheepishly whispered.
