Blankly, Hinata stared up at the ceiling of her room, trying to remember what had happened. She remembered crying and.. She must have passed out and someone must have seen her and taken her home. That was a logical explanation.
Sitting up on her bed Hinata glanced out her window, noticing it was dark. Looking over to her alarm clock Hinata saw the time and sighed. 4:13A.M. Peachy. Not feeling tired anymore Hinata decided to get ready for the day, putting on her usual attire before leaving her room, and to the kitchen for a quick breakfast before going out to train.
"Oni-Chan!" A voice spoke up, snapping Hinata out of her daze.
"H-Hanabi? You and Father are b-back already?" Hinata asked her little sister who surprised her.
"Yeah, turns out it was another attempt to steal the Byākugān again." Hanabi said offhandedly as if it were normal, which it was for the main branch of the family.
Hinata didn't say anything, although she was impressed at how cooly her sister could handle these type of situations on a nearly daily basis, but that was also why she was also worried because she was still so young to have that kind of mind frame.
"Thought he could get it and then present it as a surprise gift for the Raikage. Think again!" Hanabi rambled on, fetching a glass of orange juice.
Gulping down the cool glass of the sweet drink Hanabi sighed. "Ah, that hits the spot." She grinned.
"So, how was your mission~?" Hanabi asked Hinata, who had been watching her quietly while eating an apple.
"N-nothing to worry about." Hinata lied, thinking about the letter. Hanabi nodded, not really interested thinking it was probably boring like the D-Rank missions she always heard about from new Genins.
"A-anyways, wh-what are you doing up so early H-Hanabi?" Hinata asked the young brunette.
"Well... A bunch of friends and I really like this guy in our class and... It's his birthday today so we're going to go over to his house and surprise him with gifts! His parents are gone on missions and we have the day off so..." Hanabi blushed.
"I was going to wake you up and ask your opinion on what I should wear that would make me look cute! And help me make sweets-he likes sweets- and help me wrap my present!" Hanabi's eyes glistened happily.
Hinata sweatdropped, Hanabi reminded her of the Sasuke fangirls back at the academy, but there was really nothing she could do about it, she might as well help.
Before she knew it she found herself in her younger sister's room, watching the younger Hyuuga girl change dress after dress at an alarming speed, barely able to say anything in between her sister's frenzy attempts. Colors swam quickly into the usually dull tidy room, creating a mess.
"Oni-Chan! What about this one?" Hanabi asked eagerly, spinning around in front of her body length mirror, her light blueish purple dress with small little flower like designs rising up slightly before coming back down just above her knees
"It's very beautiful H-Hanabi, I-I'm sure h-he'll notice you, h-how could he not?" Hinata smiled at her confident sister, who was blushing as she looked at herself in the mirror with a very pleased expression on her face.
"You're right! And if he doesn't I'll just have father make him like me!" Hanabi spoke optimistically, causing Hinata to freeze. The bluenette's face darkened, but the younger girl remained oblivious as she found a matching pair of flats, and put on a light purple bow in her hair.
"Hanabi..." Hinata began quietly, but her voice sturdy and serious.
"I'm just kidding Oni-Chan! That would be weird and father would never approve!" Hanabi laughed off, causing the Hyuuga Heiress to sigh heavily.
