Chapter 8- Letter

'Was last night only a dream?' Was Hinata's first thought as she woke up. Sitting up and stretching her arms Hinata yawned quietly as her pink haired friend woke up

"Morning Hinata! How was your walk last night?" Sakura yawned and looked at her pearl-eyed friend with sleepy eyes.

'I guess it really wasn't a dream..' Hinata thought. "I-It was eventful, there was a festival wh-which w-was nice." She answered the Haruno.

"Aww, I missed it? I must have forgotten about it, and I really wanted to go too! I even brought some things with me-" Sakura rambled on, causing Hinata to laugh.

"So~ Did you meet anybody?" Sakura teased, elbowing Hinata while laughing.

"W-well..." Hinata trailed off blushing, staring into space as she remembered the kiss Haru gave her.

Sakura froze, a bit shocked that either Hinata was playing along and was a really good actress or she actually met someone, even though she had Sasuke!

"H-he was really nice a-and took me t-to this place th-that was really p-pretty." Hinata said thoughtfully. 'And then he brought me back and kissed me.' She finished in her thoughts.

"Oh? How did he look like?" Sakura questioned, trying to contain her excitement. If she could break the relationship between Sasuke and Hinata with this then maybe she could have a chance with Sasuke!

"H-he h-had brown hair a-and r-really pretty b-blue eyes.." Hinata trailed off.

"Aha! So you're a sucker for blue eyes aren't you Hinata~." Sakura teased, thinking of Naruto's ocean blue eyes. Mesmerizing, kind, brave, mischevious, happy, knowing and so much other emotion were in those eyes, like they could see right through the pink haired girl whenever she looked into those beautiful blue orbs..

"E-eh?!" Hinata jumped back with a new blush, snapping Sakura out of her trance.

"I'm just teasing, but what was his name?" Sakura asked leaning forward with big curious eyes.

"H-his n-name is H-Haru.." Hinata answered with a small smile as she got up to get dressed and ready for the new day.

'Nobody here knows of a guy named Haru.. Hinata said he was a shinobi here but no one here is named Haru..' Sakura thought troubled.

"Sakura-Chan!" A voice broke her out of her thoughts. Surprised Sakura turned around and saw her blond teammate.

"What is it Naruto?" Sakura asked annoyed as he ran up to her.

"Well, I don't know but don't you think Hinata's been acting weird lately?" Naruto asked.

"Now that you mention it yeah, something's been bothering her since yesterday." Sakura agreed, though a bit curious on why Naruto had randomly brought Hinata up. 'Not like that she needs the attention.' She thought bitterly, then felt guilty immediately afterwards, she shouldn't be acting like this, especially not on a mission.

"Huh, Oh yeah that reminds me, what are you doing Sakura? We're going to leave the Hidden Cloud in a couple hours." Naruto said.

'That's right.. We never found anything did we, we've asked every person in this village thanks to Naruto's clones.' Sakura thought to herself.

"-So Kakashi-Sensei wants us to meet up to decide our next destination ya know." Naruto continued.

"Then let's go!" Sakura grabbed Naruto's arm, pulling him along to the hotel quickly with her.
