Chapter 16- Hime

"R-Kun!" Bright blue eyes shone brightly as they glanced up, noticing a figure in the shadows of her room.

"The one and only, who else do you think it was?" He teased, a smirk playing at his lips as he pushed himself off the wall and walked into the light.

The girl blushed, he was quite handsome. Oh, if only he looked at her the same way she looked at him. Striking green eyes that stared right into her, chocolate mousse hair that looked so soft, a kind mishevious smile that flitted across his face, she just loved it. He was only a couple years older, but oh, he still only saw her as a child.

"So, how was y-your day R-Kun?" She stuttered, looking down quickly, causing her long light brown hair to cascade down past her shoulders.

"It was great, but now it's better now that I get to see you." He looked down at her as she glanced up a bit. Her face went beat-red.

"And you Hira-Chan?" He questioned.

"S-Same.. All day it was tests and medical jutsu and medicine. Akiko snuck me some nikujaga, and it was really good because Mihiko-San made it. I'm glad you came to see me today." The girl now dubbed as Hira smiled slightly and once again looked up, seeing the impossibly handsome face once more.

"No problem, it's fun seeing you. You haven't told anyone about me right?" R inquired, Hira shook her head.

"Of course not, I would be lonely if you stopped visiting me, even though it's in secret. I value our friendship more than letting others know about the amazing person you are. And you are the only person who tells me what exactly is going on in the outside world." Hira started.

"Yeah, it would be sad if I had to stop, but I can't have anyone knowing about me." He smiled lightly.

Hira glanced down, twiddling her fingers.

"Damn it Shino, I was supposed to find the damn cat." Kiba grumbled, showing off his sharp canines as he spoke haughtily.

"It was tricky, but it turned out that cat was with that wretched ostrich, so either way you would have never found the cat." Shino pet one of his beetles, examining it as he did so from under his dark shades.

'Somehow that doesn't surprise me.' Hinata sweatdropped.

"I-It's alright, the cat w-was found, l-let's go g-get a new mission." Hinata spoke up.

"Mission my ass, these are chores people dint want to do, except that cat one, it's like an S-Rank!" Kiba complained.

"Isn't that a good th-thing? And aren't y-you exaggerating it a b-bit?" Hinata questioned.

"Kiba, as my prize you will shut up for a week." Shino interrupted. Kiba's jaw dropped.

"Arf!" Akamaru barked, in an almost teasing way. Kiba glared at his companion.

"Sorry Kiba, but the rules are the rules a-and you agreed to them." Hinata inputted before Kiba could say anything.

"Or else I'll put in a request to Lady Tsunade to give you even more D-Ranked missions." Kiba shut up, glaring at the Aburame.

"So, Hinata, did you need something?" Shino turned to the Hyūga, who jumped a bit in surprise.

"Eh? Wh-what do you m-mean?"

"You seemed very intent on finding Tora. You know you can just ask us if you need something." Shino said.
