Unbelievable. Blake is my dance partner. Of all people it had to be Blake Richards the guy who probably wants me kicked out of this school.
Hey dance partner." Blake smirked as he slid his arm around my body.
"Don't touch me." I said firmly.
"Woah no need to be harsh."
"I told you I wanted to stay away from you and I wanted you to stay away from me."
"Well we don't always get what we want now do we?"
"Isn't there anyone else who can be your partner?"
"Yes I think there are many girls who would love to be my dance partner so you should consider yourself honored."
"Honored? I don't think so more like cursed."
"Ouch that one hurt Belle."
"My name is Annabelle."
"I'm aware Belle." He decided to emphasize on Belle. It kind of irritated me that he gave me a nickname.
"I don't want to stand to close to you I'm afraid you will contaminate me."
"I'm not a disease." He chuckled. He had the nerve to chuckle.
"I wouldn't be so sure about that."
"I've never felt so unwanted."
"Really? That's a shocker."
"Why aren't you falling over me isn't that what every girl here does?"
"I don't fall for people who are conceited."
"Now who said I was conceited."
"You did by that last statement you clearly think to highly of yourself."
"Well what's not to think highly of?"
"That's exactly my point."
"Blake and Annabelle both of you have detention because you can't stop talking in my class I've been trying to get your attention for the past 5 minutes. You sound like an old married couple." Ms. McCracken mentioned, in front of everyone I mifhr add.
"Married? As if" I scoffed.
"Ms. McCracken I am sure that there must be some mistake. I clearly do not need to be in detention I'm sure my father wouldn't be to happy about that." Blake cocily said as he through his hands in his pockets.
"Blake you and Annabelle come talk to me after class and we will see." said Ms. McCracken.
Blake and I went through the class trying to learn the dance. Key word being trying. He kept messing up and I think he was doing it on purpose. He makes me so mad. I want to punch him in the face but if I do that then his father has a reason to kick me out. UGH.
"Ms. McCracken, I am sorry for talking today in class and I know you said that there was no change in partners but I honestly don't know if Blake and I could ever work together. The chemistry just isn't there. Today alone he kept messing up on the dance and I think he did it on purpose." I admitted.
"Annabelle you can't just accuse people like that. I chose you and Blake for a reason and you have to trust that I know what I'm doing." Ms. McCracken explained.
That was when Blake lazily walked over. "I don't know what Belle has told you but I think this partnership will work out very well. I know I'm enjoying it." Blake smiled but not just an average smile like a revenge smile sort of evil.
"Great that is just what I like to hear which is why I am giving you to an extra assignment. As you said Annabelle, the chemistry between you two isn't there. Which is why you two have to hang out together more, become friends, may be even more than that."
