Blake and I got back on school grounds where it was about lunch right now. We had been gone for several hours but whatever. I doubt I missed anything special.
"Want to eat lunch with me?" Blake asked.
I probably should find Eliana and everyone else but I went against my better judgement. "Sure."
"Great." Blake smiled.
The second we got on school ground all eyes were on us. Sometimes the people at this school really get on my nerves.
Then a group of girls came up to us where it looked as if they were scanning me. It was really weird. "I thought you were dating Aiden." one of the girls said very rude I might add.
"I don't see how whom I date is any of your business."
"So are you cheating on Aiden?"
My eyes widened. "I would never cheat but for your information Aiden and I aren't dating anymore."
"So, Charlotte was right." The girls giggled and scampered off.
"Wait. Right about what?" I tried following them but Blake pulled me back.
"Belle, don't let them get to you."
"I want to know what rumors Charlotte is spreading about me because they probably aren't even true."
"Charlotte wants to get to you. Belle, keep yourself under control otherwise you will just get more looks from people and people will just make up crazier stories."
I sighed. "Fine, you're right."
Blake and I just kept walking down the hall until we got to the dining hall.
I honestly feel as if no one has seen us before. I know everyone is staring and this happens to be the place that Aiden usually eats or well he did eat here before he ate with me in the quad.
Blake led me to a table right in the center where Luke and Connor were. I hadn't spoken to them in such a long time.
Connor and I still sit next to each other but we rarely talked. I just didn't know how and I didn't really want to. It was weird Eliana had this mutual hatred toward him therefore I had this weird hatred (well more like disliking) towards him.
"What are you doing here?" Luke asked. He hasn't changed still as uncaring as ever.
I was about to respond when Blake interrupted me, "I invited her."
"Why?" Connor asked.
"Because I did. Okay?" Blake started sounding kind of harsh and protective.
"If I'm not wanted I can leave." I started to turn away.
"No, Annabelle stay. I'm sorry if we seem rude. You and I haven't talked for months and now my best friend has you join us for lunch. I was just curious that's all." Connor said with a smile.
I sat down as I enjoyed my lunch. I looked across the room and my eyes met Aidens. He was sitting with Charlotte.
Nope that didn't bother me. I didn't care. I don't care. oh who am I kidding it totally bothers me.
That was when Charlotte turned around and saw me. She was totally trying to make me jealous. I wasn't even remotely jealous until Charlotte started kissing Aiden.
Ugh. I hated her. I wanted to scream.
"I have to go." I told Blake, Connor and Luke before I fled the dining hall and made my way to the quad.
I could feel my eyes watering but I didn't let tears leave my eyes.
I ran to Eliana, Tate, Nicole and Amy.
"What's wrong?" Eliana asked.
"Everything." I sniffled.
"Tell us what happened." Amy comforted me before she pulled me into a hug.
"So," I took a big breathe. "I broke up with Aiden because he is in love with Charlotte. I didn't want to break up with him but I also didn't want to be with him anymore. I ran to the dance studio and broke down in tears and then Blake shows up. He comforted me and then we fell asleep in the studio. I woke up not wanting to go to school so Blake and I ditched." I didn't want to tell them about Blake's mom because it was more of his personal business.
"There has to be more." Tate insisted.
"Oh there is. So anyway Blake and I just got back and he asked if I would have lunch with him and I said yes. So he took me into the dining hall and Aiden eats there but I didn't know that. Aiden and I made direct eye contact and he was with Charlotte."
I paused dreading the thought.
"And?" Nicole pestered me to keep going.
"And," I snapped, "Charlotte kissed Aiden right in front of me and I left the dining hall and came here."
Eliana seemed almost angry yet still upset, that broken look I've seen on her so many times before.
It is probably because Charlotte did this to her to. Charlotte cheated on Aiden with Connor who cheated on Eliana with Charlotte.
I honestly don't know how Aiden could love someone so horrid. Charlotte was terrible she always has been and she probably always will be.
"We don't have to talk about this Anna." Eliana said. I honestly don't think she wants to talk about this. Charlotte hurt me almost the same way she hurt Eliana.
"Thank you. I really don't want anything to do with Charlotte. She may be our roommate but that's all she is." I replied.
"I think that would be best." Eliana agreed nodding her head.
Lunch ended which meant I had dance which I was looking forward to. Blake and I had been working really hard and we are so close to Final Showcase. Is it weird that I'm still kind of scared if I ever had to perform.
Don't judge me okay? I have conquered a lot of my stage freight but the Final Showcase is a lot more people than a tiny karaoke place or a small A Cappella class.
So anyway you wouldn't believe who is new in our dance class. Charlotte. Of course my life would be that unlucky.
Ms.M told Charlotte that since there was no one to be her partner and since she showed up so late in the year she should just learn the girl part but she probably won't be in the Final Showcase.
So we got through dance class but Charlotte wouldn't stop looking at Blake and I.
"Ignore her, Belle." Blake advised as his hands surrounded my waist before he lifted me. "She is just trying to get to you." I then went to fall on the ground (don't worry it's choreographed I'm not that uncoordinated.) So I fell and Blake reached out his hand to pick me up before we end in our final positions.
"I know she's trying to get to me and worse it's kind of working. I hate her."
"I know I think everyone does though. Her face looks like a toddlers coloring book." I laughed Blake was right though she had way too much make up on. What did Aiden see in her?
"Annabelle stop talking during my class." Ms.M stated firmly completely humiliating me but it was okay I didn't even mind.
"Sorry won't happen again," I giggled.
"Again from the top." Ms.M clapped her hands. "Five, Six, Seven Eight"
