I honetly just couldn't wait to get back to Aiden. Unfortunately I had dance with Blake and right now we are learning this very sweet song. The song is about how two people fall in love even though they started off not wanting to be with each other and not even wanting to be breathing the same air.
It starts off pretty much with us almost fighting but then it ends with us in love and never able to leave each others arms. It really is a beautiful song. At first I can tell you I was against it but it seems to just get easier with practice.
Blake and I only have dinner once a week now. Apparently our chemistry has gotten better according to Ms. McCracken.
"Hey Belle," Blake shouted as he summoned me over to him.
"Hey," I greeted "Good job in A Cappella today."
"Same to you as always."
"Thank you so ready for practice today."
"Ready as I will ever be. Do you think we can get into the Final Showcase?"
"I don't know I hope not."
"Why? Don't tell me you still have stage freight?"
"I can't. I'd be lying."
"Belle, you have such great stage presence why does it scare you so much?"
"I don't know it just always has scared me to sing in front of other people I mean you should be glad I sing in class."
"Let's not go to dance today."
"What?"
"Come on." Blake grabbed my arm and pulled me into a car as he told his drio take us to this placeI had never heard of.
"Where are you taking me?"
"You will see." Blake smirked.
~~~
It turns out Blake was taking me to this restaurant. It looked very nice and very hip. It had purple lights glowing all around. I was going to ask Blake why he would take me here and then I saw a giant sign KARAOKE NIGHT.
"No, no, no, no. I am going home." I stared to walk away but Blake put his arm around my waist and turned me around.
"ah ah ah you are not going anywhere Belle."
"I can't go up there, you know that."
"You can go up there and you will." Blake convinced, "I know you can do this. Plus you are not leaving until you go up there. How about we get a table?"
I sighed I had known Blake long enough to know that he wouldn't take no for an answer. "Fine."
~~~
So Blake and I sat down and ordered some food. At that point I wasn't feeling very hungry so I just got a salad. I was just feeling sick I didn't want to sing especially in front of strangers. I knew Blake wasn't going to let me leave until I performed.
As annoying as he was I knew he's trying to help me. Blake is actually the first person who is trying to help me. Aiden, Eliana and everyone they support me but they would never do this Tate might actually but he never has.
"Blake I don't think I can do this."
"Ah, see there's your problem I know you can do this why are you doubting yourself?"
"There are actual people here and the last think I need is to run off stage in tears."
"You don't have to do this..." Thank goodness."...alone. However you are going to go up there and sing at least one note before you leave I have all night."
"I don't even know what to sing."
"I got this." Blake said confidently.
He walked up there and started singing. He grabbed a guitar from the band set behind him and was just singing. t honestly just made me laugh. Blake has such great stage presence. He started singing A-Team by Ed Sheeran.
White lips, pale face
Breathing in snowflakes
Burnt lungs, sour taste
Light's gone, day's end
Struggling to pay rent
Long nights, strange men
And they say
She's in the Class A Team
Stuck in her daydream
Been this way since eighteen
But lately her face seems
Slowly sinking, wasting
Crumbling like pastries
And they scream
The worst things in life come free to us
Cause we're just under the upper hand
And go mad for a couple grams
And she don't want to go outside tonight
And in a pipe she flies to the Motherland
Or sells love to another man
It's too cold outside
For angels to fly
Angels to fly
Everyone was starting at Blake and everyone started clapping and cheering. That was how Karoke started that night.

I enjoyed watching everyone perform. They looked like they were having so much fun even if they couldn't sing at all. It was great. Then the annoucer, dj, mc, whatever he was started saying that there was only time for one more song.
That was when Blake pointed to me and screamed "THIS GIRL RIGHT HERE ANNABELLE WALKER."
That was when I walked up to that stage.
"What do you want to sing little lady?"
"Human by Christina Perri."
I can turn it on
Be a good machine
I can hold the weight of worlds
If that's what you need
Be your everything
I can do it
I can do it
I'll get through it
But I'm only human
And I bleed when I fall down
I'm only human
And I crash and I break down
Your words in my head, knives in my heart
You build me up and then I fall apart
'Cause I'm only human
I won't bore you with all the lyrics but let me tell you I really did it. I performed and it just seemed to get easier and easier as I went along. Once it was over Blake gotg out of his seat claping and screaming. He was so stupid. That was the moment that I got my first standing ovation and it was a great feeling. I would never have ever gotten the courage to do that before. Thank you Blake Richards.
