Viceroy's Palace

"Prepare all the squad 3, the whole party had been annihilated", Villeta ordered. They are still hesitant of letting an eleven steal the show. Euphemia stands next to the monitor where she sees that their soldiers are being wiped out. "Your Highness, you could already take a rest. Lancelot's pilot is already here. We can now assure victory", one of the guards informed her. She walked outside the room and met Suzaku along the corridor. "Come back alive, my knight", Euphemia said before walking away. "Princess. Is there something bothering you?", Suzaku asked. "Suzaku, even if I wanted to help. I still feel useless but I wont lose hope. Not that I have you by my side", Euphemia clasped her hands together. "Yes, your highness. I believe you can something great. Allowing me to fight alongside with you is already something that I would be grateful of", Suzaku bowed and both of them went separate ways.

At the same time, Saphira hid in order not to reveal herself to Suzaku. A hand dropped on her shoulder. "Hmmm, blood against blood. How could he turn his back from his own people", Saphira said under her breath."Eavesdropping?", he whispered.

"Seriously Dad! You have to stop doing that", Saphira gave mini punches on his father's chest. "It's good to be young", Glen chuckled. "Then Dad. I thought you are going to sleep for 2 days straight to beat your record?", Saphira asked. They walked heading to the rooftop garden. "Well, this place isn't peaceful at all. Let's go back to the motherland", Glen whined. "Dad. I already told you before that you can stay back there but I doubt leaving you", Saphira pouted. They sat at the grasses and looked up to the sky. "But even if this place isn't peaceful, I can still watch the night sky. ", Glen reached out his hands to the sky. "Dad, Suzaku is a japanese, right?", Saphira asked. "Saphira. In this place, you dont' call them as such. They are called eleven", Glen lectured. "Euphemia has her own mind and who knows what is running inside of her", Glen chuckled. "Dad, we came here as tourist. Always remember that, okay?", Saphira clung into his father's shoulder. "Yes", Glen answered and patted her head.

The Next Day at Ashford Academy
Rooftop

Lelouch talked with Ohgi to instruct them for the next plan for the black nights. He heard some footsteps so he ended the call. "Lelouch?", a voice of a lady startled him. "Ah, Saphira", he turned around. "Whenever I see you, I really have this nostalgic feeling. Something that reminds me about the mainland", Saphira walked towards him. "What were you doing here?", she asked. "Well, I'm just...", Lelouch hid his phone. "You're calling your girlfriend?", Saphira teased.

"By the way, you've missed class yesterday. I hope you're not playing some bad games", Saphira looked straight into Lelouch's eyes. The guy averted his stares. "I'm a bad guy after all", Lelouch chuckled. "Say Lelouch, I've had this conversation with my Dad yesterday. With the information the student council gave me, I know you're someone decisive. Is it correct to call the Japanese eleven in this place when they own it in the first place?", Saphira asked. Lelouch's heart beat fast. "If you ask things like that, they might say you want to start a rebellion", Lelouch sighed. "But then... we label people because of what they can do. If they're capable of claiming their identity back, then they would be alleviated with the degradation they are experiencing. That would be my answer for now. Let's not be late for our first class", Lelouch started to walk away. Saphira clapped and had a smile on her face.

The Next Day, Narita
G-1 base - a large armoured vehicle which acts as the command center.

"Then, why am I also here?", Saphira asked. "You're a princess and you should also be able to understand these things", Euphemia explained. "I dont like the sound of war, Princess", Saphira sat down at the computer chair and just twirl around. "What is this unit doing at the very end?", Euphemia asked. "It's the honorary Britanian", on of the guards explained. "Why is he there?", Euphemia asked. "Even if he's your knight? Viceroy Cornellia doesnt need the help of an... eleven, I guess", Saphira answered. The officers also seconded. "Because they don't want an outsider stealing the show", Saphira looked at the officer who seconded and gave a teasing smile. He felt irritated and walked away. Saphira wore earphones and just listened to classical music. After sometime, a huge landslide happened which wiped out almost the unit of Darlton. "What happened?", Euphemia asked. "Zero is here", one of the officers informed. The nightmares are connected by line. "Zero?!!!", Jeremiah who was located at the very back rushed to attack with no orders.

Another Military Vehicle

"I'm getting bored already", Lloyd sighed. He saw the map and the wiped out unit of Darlton. "They will be needing us now", Lloyd said in excitement. They saw that Cornellia's nightmare is surrounded by enemies. The line opened for Euphemia and Suzaku. "Hello, Princess", Lloyd greeted. "We would like to ask for your permission to interfere with the battle", Suzaku said while holding unto the nightmare's maneuver. "But...", Euphemia looked at the officers with bitter faces. "He only wants to have another recognition", one of the officers commented. Euphemia lip read what Suzaku said. "Euphy". "I, sub viceroy Euphemia Li Britannia, permits Suzaku Kururugi to go into battle with Lancelot", Euphemia ordered. Suzaku smiled. "Yes, Your Highness".

"Are you sure? Viceroy can be really full of pride. I bet she doesn't want help from someone like Suzaku", Saphira stood up and watched the nightmare crushed inside the battle. "This is something you don't see everyday, Saphira", Euphemia looked at her. "I dont want to. Plus, watching them inside an armour vehicle like this is like playing a video game", Saphira commented and went out. "Where will she go?", one of the officer asked. "Leave her, she's just going to get fresh air", Euphemia answered.

Battlefield

Suzaku got trapped with Rakshata's machines and had his nightmare bugged down. Zero went out of his nightmare and asked Suzaku to do so. "For the final time, I am asking you to join the Black Knights", Zero invited. "I still don't agree with your methods, Zero", Suzaku furrowed his brow. "Then, what is right and what is wrong? Suzaku?", Zero asked. "I am going to change things from within", ,Suzaku said with confidence. The huge shade distracted them and they saw a huge air vehicle, the Avalon, with Scheniezel in it. Suzaku got the opportunity and locked Zero in the arm. He placed him inside the nightmare. The line opened. "Stay there Knight Suzaku. The avalon would be firing down and Zero will be caught up with it. You death will not be in vein", the officer informed. "Stupid! Suzaku, see. Those people are willing to sacrifice you", Zero lectured. "I am willing to", Suzaku said in a soft voice. Zero opened his masked on the eye and used his Gease. "Live!"
