The carriage ride seemed to take forever to get to the Oltron Forest. It was a bumpy, uncomfortable ride that was not pleasurable at all. Matt and Shay kept swinging in his direction every time the carriage turned. Allura sat across from them, bags taking up the spots next to her. "Sorry my luggage has taken the seats next to me. You three will need to sit on the front side of the carriage," the co-queen had said to them as the carriage started.

Shiro honestly thought that he was better off if he had sat outside with Coran. At least Coran wouldn't scream in his ears every time their mode of transportation took a sharp turn, which was every turn. There were about sixteen turns and they were paced out about seven feet from each other. What kind of road were they even on?

Needless to say, when the carriage stopped, Shiro was more then happy. He even was the first one out. In the distance, he saw figures and what looked like baby lions from where he stood. No doubt that it was Katie, their friends, and the lions. In a quick sprint, Shiro left the others behind as he raced off to stop them. He was not going to let Katie leave him again.

"How do you even open the warp?" Lance asked Blue. The cat stared down at him as she searched through her memories to find the answer. Though, before she could find one, Slav spoke.

"What an excellent question, my dumb companion! Me and lady here have searched this topic for years! Every since I found her in that closet after reality warping!" the little man explained from up on Black's back. He and Trigel rode the majestic beast since Slav annoyed all of them with his consistent babbling about his "aching muscles" for a half-hour.

Lance felt like slapping the shorty off of his high pedestal. "Oh? How so? You never even answered the question...," Lance said, squinting at the weird man.

"Patience is key, young one! Now, where is that warp?" Slav cheered, scanning the area with a hand covering his eyes. He smiled and pointed to an area where two trees crossed each other. "There! There is the warp! Onward you incompetent servants!"

With a groan, Black tossed Slav off his back. "Are you sure about this, Katie?" the lion asked. She looked at him and nodded. She was sure she wanted this.

"Katie stop this nonsense right now!" everyone heard a voice call. They turned to see King Shiro catching his breath and Shay, Allura, and Matt in pursuit. "Your foolishness will only effect everyone here!"

Katie looked at him. There he was, the man her heart lived for. She only turned away, approaching the trees. "Takashi, this could be my only chance to save my father. I have to take it. Shouldn't you be off talking your father's ear off?" she said, trying not to cry.

Shiro knew that they lived very different lives that were somehow brought together to meet. He knew she wasn't like him. He had everything thing she didn't and she had everything he wanted. No- was everything he wanted. From the moment their eyes met for the first time, he knew where he heart was, but for the sake of the kingdom, he put them aside. Now, he wasn't so sure why he had locked that feeling up in a chest to never come out again. That lock broke the moment he saw her again.

A wind blew past the group as Shay and the others arrived. "Katie! Don't go there, please! You have mother and me! You have everyone here! Father could be gone forever... Katie, I don't want to lose you after just getting you back," Matt called, placing a hand over his racing heart. Tears overflowed from his eyes as Katie didn't even turn around.
