Shoving that thought to the back of my head, I promptly proposed from my heart and took her to Sparta so we could be wed.
We had a beautiful marriage, we never fought and we were happy. Then one night a cloud rained on our perfect marriage. I decided that I wasn't happy without having kin, but I knew I would never leave Helen. I began to take walks at night, telling her that I was going out. I turned around to tell her what was going on and all I saw was a flash of golden hair and I felt her legs wrap around my waist as I lifted her from the ground. The next thing I knew; her hands were in my hair and then we were on the ground. I remember her telling me to stop but I couldn't. I remember her crying and pushing me away, and gradually giving in. We were together that night and for a moment I was happy. And then that moment ended. I awoke to find her blood splattered body lying in my arms, she was cold and limp, her throat and wrists had been cut and her eyes were opened in fear. Next to her, in the grass, was a note written in her blood Την προειδοποίησε. I warned her.
