Update/News/Help Wanted!

Hello everyone! How long has it been? Way longer than I intended, I know.
Lately I've had a lot of time to think about my writing. I stopped writing (got stuck in really bad writers block) around sophomore year (I think!), and since then I've focused more on my education. I'm about to graduate and go to my dream school, not studying history, but instead criminal psychology. I've met some of my best friends for life, and I was given an opportunity to even travel to Europe as I've been dreaming since I hit my tweens. I'm still waiting, and with all of the Coronavirus stuff going on, I hope that it's only postponed.

On top of that, I've had a lot of time to think about the people and community I've encountered on Wattpad. I first started writing this story in my last year of middle-school. Maybe earlier than that, but I was too nervous to post and whatever scraps of this beginning were left died with my chunky old laptop. However, when I first posted, I found myself met by a lot of enthusiastic writers and readers. Not just ones who liked my writing, and what I was trying to do with the story, but people who genuinely wanted to help me improve. With all of this time on my hands, I've been going through all of the old resources I gathered to try and write this (and most definitely ignored looking back at my writing).

I want to rewrite this. From start to where I left off, to build not only better characters, but a better depiction of how the world was impacted by these events- and in turn to teach. I think getting people to subconsciously learn as they read things is one of the most exciting things, and it's something that bright-eyed middle-school me really wasn't capable of.

I'm not sure when, but I have plans and details and changes I already want to set into motion. However, I would much appreciate some help, which brings me to the next part!-

HELP WANTED!
This story has been lying dormant for almost two years now! And I think it's high time I at least try to rewrite it, pull myself out of the writer's rut I built for myself, and try again. However, I would much appreciate some help.

I'm looking for people who have a good understanding of the following:
1) General events of WWII (dates, primarily someone who would be willing to fact check for me, and add in concepts into the major piece as they see necessary. This person would be hearing a lot of how I intend to plot things, but would essentially serve as a partner in the sense that they get to offer a lot of changes and concepts if they see fit.)

2) German (I'm not sure if German grammar is very different from English, but given my experience with French, it has to be a little bit, and Google Translate is not trustworthy.)

3) I'm not sure what else at the moment, but I may think of more things as time progresses!

I intend to include names/usernames not only in the cover, but in the story description and every chapter affected. (Which I expect will be all). I'm not sure at the moment when I'm going to start rewriting, as I currently have no access to a computer (my old chunky laptop died, yay! But I've still got a USB stick somewhere with a lot of info and ideas).
