The next few weeks of having my new pet was just great, it could not of been any better as he was and still is an absolute dream dog!
I found him to be the most placid and sweetest and most loving friendly dog,he was so well behaved and of course house trained as he was four years old,he didnt bark or ever cause us an ounce of trouble i thought i've struck gold here!!i must admit i had always wanted a shiztu for as long as i can remember but they are so expensive to buy from breeders so i was overjoyed to get this amazing dog as well as everything he needed for free off my friend.
My mum was green with envy when i sent her a picture of buster because ever since her shiztu dolly had passed away a few years earlier she had wanted another because she missed her dog so much, she said i can't believe you have been given a beautiful dog for nothing with everything included!,i said obviously my friend included everything because it was all busters stuff anyway and with me doing my friend this huge favour naturally she didn't want to charge me for the dog,she never mentioned it.
Buster may as well packed a suitcase the amount of stuff he came to my home with it was mesmerizing how much stuff this dog actually had......
He had......
A cage
Food and drink bowl
Brushes
A bed
Shampoo
Dry food
Treats
Lots of toys
Doggie deodorant (yes can you believe it)
Shine spray for his fur
Lead and collar
A blanket
Sprays to make him smell nice
And tons more stuff!!So you can see how well looked after he was, he wanted for nothing as my friend took amazing care of all her dogs i was extremely grateful of all the things she sent with buster as obviously i had nothing as id never had a dog of my own since leaving home, the only thing i wanted to change was the collar,i had never liked walking a dog with collars on i just think a harness is much better as there is nothing around the neck,i have seen so many dogs getting pulled along by the lead and its pulling on the neck or the dogs ahead of the owner pulling on the lead and making noises like its choking so i went out and got a little harness for him its so much better for him i just slip his front legs in and clip it at the top, nothing at all round his neck.
The way i look at it how would we feel being pulled around with a collar on our necks?? that's just my view and my choice,i know some might say "its just a dog" that's what you do,they have worn collars for years and been pulled along by a lead, that is true but not my dog.if any one reading has a dog they should give a harness a try i think its better i really do but each to there own of course.
