Chapter 7: Insomnia?

Maxine's POV

Isang butiki, dalawang butiki CUT! haaay! nakakatamad na mag-bilang umaga na din eh. Natatakot kasi ako lumabas ng kwarto dahil nga galit si Jeremy sa akin May morning shift pa man din ako huhu >.<

"Maxy kaya mo to oki face your fears! tsaka Hindi ka naman kakainin ni Jeremy pag labas mo noh!" sabi ko sa salamin

Nag-sampung jumping jacks at naligo muna ako at tuluyan ng nakahawak sa doorknob.

"Okay (deep breath) kaya mo to." sabi ko pa bukas ng pinto.

"Good Morning Slave!" sabi ni Jeremy ng naka-NGITI?!

Jeremy's POV

I didn't slept well last night because of my conscience for Maxine. I've tried counting, eating and even studying for Pete's sake! still, I can't sleep. I don't know what got into to me and being the effect of having an insomnia you see, Maxine's is just an ordinary girl but every time she'd hurt and all I'm hurt too. Is it because I like her? nah! that will never happen.

I glanced at my alarm clock and it was 5am so 2 more hours till Maxine's shift I guess. I wasted my time playing 'Minecraft' in Xbox. when the clock strikes 5 I went to the kitchen and prepared her breakfast.

After I finished a few moments later Maxine came out of her (actually guest's) room.

"Good morning Slave!" I greeted

I recognized that she was a little bit shocked from what I did.

"Hmm maybe it's a bad morning for you. didn't slept well eh?" I said smirking

"Umm Hindi po sir eh akala ko po kasi eh galit pa din po kayo sa akin." she said

"Tss I'm not mad okay I'm think I'm just exhausted yesterday."

"Umm O-Okay sir."

"Come here join me for breakfast." I said

We began eating and there's a little awkward silence between us so I broke it.

"So upto what time is your shift today?"

"12:00 sir." she said

"Okay, so if you'll excuse me I better get to bed." I said

"Huh? tutulog nanaman po kayo? Hindi po ba kayo nakatulog kakabi?" she asked

"I think I had an insomnia." I said whoops! I should've said that

"Huh bakit po?"

"What I meant to say was I was watching a movie called insomnia." I said as I smiled awkwardly

"May movie po bang ganun?"

"Uh I think you better go or else you'll be late."

"Um okay po bye!"

Maxine's POV

"Sir Migs pwede na po ba akong umalis?" sabi ko

"Umm (sabay tingin sa kanyang wristwatch) sige sorry ha I lost track of time kasi eh nag-overtime ka na pala P.S. keep up the good work!" sabi ni sir

"Cge po thank you po sir B-Bye." sabi ko sabay wave

Umalis na ako ng resto at pumunta muna ng ComShop.

"Manong 30minutes po."

"Sige iha dun ka nalang sa May bandang kanan ha?" sabi ni Manong

"Ahh Cge po."

Pumunta ako sa computer na yun at Nagsimula mag-search sa Google ^_^

"Hmm insomnia movie."

"Huh? ibig sabihin walang movie na titled 'Insomnia'?"

"Huh? tutulog nanaman po kayo? Hindi po ba kayo nakatulog kakabi?"

"I think I had an insomnia."

"Huh bakit po?"

"What I meant to say was I was watching a movie called insomnia."

Weird? Baka talagang nakaroon Siya ng insomnia! pero ano naman Ang reason nun? Ako kaya? CHAROT! Ang feeler ko :P

Pero ano nga ba????

*Ring*

"Umm hello sir?"

Slave you better come here quick!

"Okay papunta na po!"

Aira's POV

I saw him again and that him is my half-brother.

I'm in the mall looking for things to shop. I don't even know why is my bestfriend Maxine is so obsessed with that guy! I hate him even if he's my half brother.

Okay here's the real story were siblings because we have the same father. My mom was the secretary of Mr. Dela Cruz before until I came out. My mom and Jeremy's mom was besfriends until I turned 10 and that's when the secret is revealed and they also became rivals. Me and Jeremy used to be best buddies but until then he started bullying me like embarrassing me in public and some other things like that. I used to have black hair and wear eyeglass back then actually I look pretty much like a nerd but now I dyed my hair brown and wear contacts instead so he couldn't recognize me and the Dela Cruz's won't hurt my mom anymore.

My mom experienced so much suffering cause every job my mom applied they won't hire her or hire her for a short time and fire her rightaway it's all the work of Jeremy's evil mom actually. But now I won't let their single finger touch my mom anymore I'm gonna give them my payback for what they've done to my family. We also used to live in the squater's area and only eat one meal a day 'cuz of lacking of money for our resources. When my mom met my stepdad we became rich I was even very thankful to him for what he had done! I also took modeling jobs to raise money.

My mom said it's not really her fault that it happened she said they were just drunk and boom I'm alive yipee! (insert sarcasm)
