Sopping wet, the three of us tip-toe through the halls. "Ahh!" Jared screeches as Peter rounds a corner, Amanda on his arm.
We hide between respective pillars, and totally eavesdrop.
"You're distracted." She giggles, and touches his hair.
"Yeah." He sighs.
"Is it because Christy is still angry at you?" She twirls her hair around her finger.
"No." He sighs. "I can deal with her later. I'm just lost in thought, I guess." Amanda thinks over everything so loudly I can practically hear the gears turning in her head.
"Charlotte's okay?" Amanda asks. I pantomine strangling her until Trina glares at me.
"Who's Charlotte?" He asks, blinking at her, confused. They start to walk out of view, and we move slightly to stay out of view. "None of the girls are named Charlotte."
"Charlie." Amanda says with a twisted face.
"Oh. I forgot her real name was Charlotte." Peter says, chuckling.
We step out from behind the pillars as they move out of the room. Trina and I dart up the staircase, mumbling farewells to Jared, and then run up to our floor to change.
