Charlotte "Charlie" Neal is a Five who, unlike the Prince, has worked every day of her life. At first she signs the paperwork to join his Selection to appease her mother, but her reasons change as she becomes one of the Selected. She'll navigate the troubled times, mean girls, a cheerful older sister, new friends, awesome food, a strict ettiquette teacher, the threat of war, double-crossers, flirtacious Kings, cute guards, her sassy best friend, and the Prince in her time in the Selection. Oh yeah. And don't forget the wolves. ------ (An I'll Wait For You Fanfiction) (Also a Selection Fanfiction) The characters are mine, but most of the storyline belongs to Kiera Cass! (The characters are from another story of mine and I though it would be interesting to see Peter get his Selection :D) --- Updates Saturdays, with an occasional bonus update throughout the week. ^-^

The announcement came around midday. The red strip floated around the top of the television as it's odd siren "erred". It was that noise that had started it. "Err." It went again. "Err" The noise was what had caused Rachel, who is usually cool and nonchalant, to call desperately to her mother. "Mom?"

"Ronin," who was an ex convict before the Novian civil wars, gets another chance at life helping rebuild society inside one of the Southern Island's autonomous zones, working as a Prospector and Scout searching for supplies and new territory in the "no man's land" the southern island has become after civil unrest and economic collapse. While trying to change, his past life and involvement with gangs and drugs haunt him, but skills honed on the vicious unforgiven streets make him the perfect protector against the numerous gangs, cartels, and warlords who operate throughout the different sections of the island outside of the autonomous zones. Ronin and his partner uncover a plot of the Northern Island's elite going hunting on the South Island. Their target? Humans. Rumors of war mongering and pharmaceutical testing on civilians run rampant as a new drug gets released onto the streets called "Boom," that turns users into super human maniacs with a flood of adrenaline and a hallucinatory high, offset by a derranged craving for the drug.
