Dissolution of business could be for variety of reasons for example: bankruptcy, retirement, or a change in career direction. When a business entity is no longer doing business or even if it was never used for anything, it is very important that it follows the legal steps in "winding itself up" as a legal entity. A business Corporation, S Corporation or an LLC is an entity created under authority granted by the state. Its existence may only be terminated by the state. The Business Law provides a procedure for dissolving a corporation or an LLC. All legal entities can only be dissolved through formal action, not by a letter or phone call. You remain liable for all taxes, assessments, fines, penalties and interest until you receive a certificate of dissolution from the Secretary of State. There are typical actions that are taken when closing a business on Federal and State Level: Federal (IRS) You must file an annual return for the year you go out of business. If you have employees, you must file the final employment tax returns. Make final federal tax deposits. File final quarterly or annual employment tax form. Issue final wage and withholding information to employees. Report information from W-2s issued. File final tip income and allocated tips information return. Report capital gains or losses. Report partner's/shareholder's shares. File final employee pension/benefit plan. Issue payment information to sub-contractors. Report information from 1099s issued. State (Where your business is formed): You must file an annual return for the year you go out of business. If you have employees, you must file the final employment tax returns with your State. Make final State tax deposits. File final quarterly or annual employment tax form. If you collect Sales Tax in your State. File final Sales Tax Return.

Eight Castes. Seven Corpses. Six Secrets. Five Loves. Four Attacks. Three Finalists. Two Royals. One Competition of a Lifetime. Competing for the love of a prince in a glorious palace seems wonderful to most of the Daughters of Illéa. When they signed up, they expected extravagant gowns, meals, and to be spoiled beyond belief. What they are really walking into is a dangerous game of secrets, lust, seduction and death. And perhaps only the innocent will win. This is The Selection.

The smell was as hideous as a demon past the seventh gate of hell and yet as pleasant as a field of flowers. It came to me like a messenger, delivering the news. It spoke of a truce, and it spoke of war. It tried to console me, to comfort me, to plead to me against war. It begged with all of its heart, tears as salty as the rain, and cried for mercy. But I couldn’t live with this.

"In the Hollow of the Night" is a stark and intimate descent into the mind of someone trapped within the limits of a failing body and a fraying sense of self. The narrator moves through a landscape of pain, medication haze, and emotional dislocation, struggling to hold onto memory, identity, and meaning as they drift between waking and oblivion. Each line reveals a different facet of that quiet torment: the betrayal of nerves that scream through the dark, the slow erosion of the body under medication, and the suffocating isolation that makes even thought feel distant. Yet beneath that ruin lies a faint, steady awareness-the knowledge that joy has vanished, and with it, the world they once recognised. It's a psychological portrait of someone caught between endurance and erasure, rendered in a voice that feels both haunted and brutally honest. The piece captures the bleak stillness of night where pain speaks louder than hope, and where the self begins to flicker at the edges.

Charlotte "Charlie" Neal is a Five who, unlike the Prince, has worked every day of her life. At first she signs the paperwork to join his Selection to appease her mother, but her reasons change as she becomes one of the Selected. She'll navigate the troubled times, mean girls, a cheerful older sister, new friends, awesome food, a strict ettiquette teacher, the threat of war, double-crossers, flirtacious Kings, cute guards, her sassy best friend, and the Prince in her time in the Selection. Oh yeah. And don't forget the wolves. ------ (An I'll Wait For You Fanfiction) (Also a Selection Fanfiction) The characters are mine, but most of the storyline belongs to Kiera Cass! (The characters are from another story of mine and I though it would be interesting to see Peter get his Selection :D) --- Updates Saturdays, with an occasional bonus update throughout the week. ^-^
