"Jake!"
I said while waking from a nightmare. My boyfriend broke up with me just last night. And I can't accept that. I love him more than anything, anyone, and even myself. A man entered the room I was in. At that time, I realized that I wasn't in my room. I'm not in my bed. I didn't got the chance to see his face because all of his blinds are still closed. He opened them, and I finally saw his face.
"Mabuti naman at gising ka na."
"Sino ka?"
He sat on the edge of the bed.
"Ako si Richard. Richard Faulkerson Jr. but call me RJ instead."
"Okay..."
"Ikaw, ano pangalan mo?"
"Uhh... Nicomaine Dei Mendoza, paano nga pala ako napunta dito?"
"Well..."
"I saw you on the streets on my way home. Wala kang malay, so I thought. Dalhin kita sa bahay, baka mamaya kasi may mangyareng masama syo. Ma-rape o kaya masagasaan".
I nodded.
"Thanks nga pala. Pero mauuna nako".
I said while getting out of his bed.
"Teka, hinde ka ba magbre-breakfast?"
"Hindi na! Thank you ulit, Richard!"
I said while getting out of his condo. He followed me until I went inside the elevator. After 3 minutes, I'm finally out of that building. I called a taxi and asked the driver to drive me home.
An hour had already passed. I'm home, I'm hungry, I'm alone. I checked my bag to get my phone, but I realized, I left my phone at his place. I sighed while sitting at the couch. I then heard my sister, Coleen, saying words that I can't understand.
"San ka galing, Menggay? Bat di ka umuwi kagabi? Bat hindi ma-reach ung phone mo?"
"Can you slow down?"
"Anong slow down? San ka ba galing?"
"I don't know either"
"Ako ang malalagot kina nanay neto eh"
"Sorry".
She sat down beside me and rubbed my back.
"Ano bang nangyare sa inyo ni Jake kagabi?".
I looked at my ate ang hugged her.
"Did you broke up?".
I nodded my head to answer her question.
"The next thing I know, I'm already in a room of a guy who just saved my life."
"Yiee! Sino naman yun?"
"Richard"
"Richard? Pa-share naman"
"He is handsome, he looks cute, he looks strong, he has a dimple on his left cheek and-- Teka lang!"
"Oh my gosh, Nicomaine. May crush ka sakanya?"
"Crush agad?"
"Eh, alam mo lahat ng features nya eh"
"Loko ka talaga."
I said while standing up. Then she told me.
"Mag-ready ka na ah? Pupunta tyo sa designer ko para makapag-try na din ako ng gowns. Tapos ime-meet natin si Mike tsaka ung best friend nya"
"Kailangan talaga kasama ako?"
"Yes! Bridesmaid kita diba?"
"Yeah, right. Sige".
