RJ's POV;
I followed her until she reached the elevator. I sighed while going back to my room. When I got back, I saw her phone still lying in my bed, I didn't want to be rude and open her phone without permission, but I can't resist it. My jaw dropped when I saw her lock-screen photo, she was with her boyfriend in that photo. They must have broke up last night that's why she's lying in the streets. I swiped the screen and it opened. Out of all people, I can say that she is the only one who's deeply in-love with her boyfriend. And I know it will take years for her to move-on. Life sucks, you know.
I then recieved a message from my friend, Mike, who was telling me to be at the mall by 10:00 AM sharp. Then I replied with a yes. I sighed while walking to my closet and finding clothes to wear. After 10 minutes of changing my clothes and fixing my hair, I went to the elevator and landed on the basement. I got inside my car and drove to the mall. It was already 9:55 AM when I arrived, I ran to Starbucks to meet my best friend. When it comes to Mike, everything should be perfect, everything should be on right timing. In short, he's a perfectionist. I sat down on the chair in front of him, then he asked.
"Want anything?"
"Nah! Baka lagyan mo pa ng lason ung inumin ko"
"Yeah, 1 minute late ka kasi."
"Yeah, right. Like 1 minute counts."
"Shut up."
"Where's Coleen?"
"On her way. She's with her sister by the way, we're going to partner the both of you, since you're both alone in the wedding, is it fine?"
"Yeah, sure--"
Mike stood up and I also did the same. He kissed Coleen's cheek.
"Coleen, si Richard, I'm sure nagkakilala na kyo?"
"Oo naman! Hi Richard!"
"Hello, nice to see you again. Congrats nga pala."
"Thank you!"
"Nga pala, babe, asan na ung kapatid mo?"
"Ay, may binili lang. Pero papunta na rin un. O-order nako, guys. Ano syo, babe?"
"Kahit ano"
"Okay, eh sayo Richard?"
"Coffee please."
"Okay--"
"Hey guys! Sorry I'm late.
I stood up and our eyes met.
"Richard?"
"Maine?"
Until Mike spoke.
"Magkakilala kyo?"
"Obvious ba?"
"Sorry... Ah, babe, samahan na kita."
He said while running next to Coleen.
"Ate--"
"Dyan ka na lang Menggay."
I saw how Maine sighed.
"Sit down."
I said while pulling her chair for her to sit on. Then I sat on mine.
"So... Ikaw ung ipapartner sakin sa kasal?"
"I think so... By the way, you left you phone in my bed."
I said while giving her phone back.
"Thank you!"
"You're welcome".
The next thing I know, we were both staring at each other. Good thing Coleen and Mike came back and we all drank our beverages.
