After breakfast...
"Richard?"
"Hmm?"
"Tingin mo mapapatawad ako ni Coleen?"
"Oo naman... Siguro namiss ka din nya."
"Paano mo nasabi?"
"Nakita ko sa mga mata nya. Sobrang lungkot nya nung nalaman nyang lumayas ka."
"Mahal na mahal talaga ako ng kapatid kong un."
"Syempre, magkapatid kyo."
We arrived at Coleen's house and it was opened by Mike.
"Maine? Ikaw na ba yan?"
I nodded slowly.
"Teka lang! Kunin ko lang si Colee—"
"Wait! I want to surprise her."
"You sure?"
"Yep. Where is she?"
"In our room. Eto na ba si Gab?"
"Yes, he is. I guess he became too tired and fell asleep while we were on our way here."
"Mukha nga."
Mike opened the door and I took a deep breath and gave Gab to Richard.
"Goodluck."
He said. I smiled at him and went inside. Coleen was sitting on their bed, her back facing me. She was holding something, and she was rocking it.
"C-Coleen?"
She faced me and I saw what's she was holding. I covered my mouth and tears fell from my eyes.
"Oh my God. Coleen..."
She stood up and placed her baby on the bed. She also covered her mouth and ran to me. She hugged me tightly, and I hugged her back.
"Congrats, Sis!"
"Thanks! I'm glad you're back!"
"I'm glad I am too."
When we pulled away, I saw her face, she was crying. I cupped her face and wiped her tears.
"Stop crying. Hindi nakaka-ganda yan."
She laughed a little bit.
"Is she?"
"Yes."
I went around the bed and carried her little baby.
"How old is she?"
"She's 2 months. Her name is Serafina Alessandra Manuela Cruz. Sam for short."
"Ang cute naman... Hi baby Sam!"
Then Sam started crying.
"Aww... Tahan na, andito si Tita Maine."
Then she stopped as I started making funny faces.
"Hala, ang cute."
Coleen went beside me and carried Sam from me.
"Proud ako sayo, Coleen. Na-acomplish mo na ung goal mo, next naman try to get thin. Ang hirap diba?"
"Oo eh... Tignan mo nga sarili mo, nakapag-cropped top ka pa at parang hindi ka nanganak."
"Syempre."
We both laughed.
"O, asan na si bibi boy?"
I went beside Richard and carried Gab from him. I walked towards Coleen again then Gab woke up.
He was still tired so when he saw Coleen, of course he didn't recognized her, he covered his face in the crook of my neck.
"May pinagmanahan."
Mike and Coleen both said.
"Sino?"
"Si Richard."
"Mahiyain kaya yan!"
Mike said.
"Mahiyain pa sya sa lagay na yan ah."
