a/n: No one in my family that I was particularly close to has died, but I never got to meet my great-grandmother in a time that i would remember it (I was very young).

You probably wouldn't be able to read this even if you were alive, but I can't write in Chinese. I wish I could've met you. Even though you didn't seem... awfully likeable, I wish I could remember you. I know my mom has gotten a lot of good memories and stories from you, and I will be happy to remember them and pass them on. You will not be forgotten.
