Lance's POV:

I turned to my side and opened my eyes to find I was in my bedroom. I sat up and looked around, dazed. Sunlight crept through the partially open blinds. I let out a yawn as I tried to recall what happened last night. Keith!

I threw the covers off of me and quickly stood up making me lightheaded. I had to place a hand on the wall to prevent from falling. Once I collected myself I left the room and searched through my apartment trying to find the Vampire from last night. I had looked in all the rooms in my apartment and began to feel a nervous sweat roll down my back.

Defeated, I shuffled into the kitchen with my head hung low. It's then when I hear footsteps behind me. "Why so gloomy?" A voice asked concerned. My head sprang up as I turned with excitement to see my new friend. "Keith! Where have you been?!" I said running up and hugging him. He seemed frozen and unable to react. I quickly let go thinking I've overstepped my boundaries. "S-sorry." I said giving him a nervous smile.

"Uh... it's fine." He said returning a forced smile. I caught a good look at his fangs and let out a gasp in amazement. "Wow, those are cool looking." I said moving my head around getting a better look at them. "You think so? Normally they scare people." Keith said poking his fangs. "What can I say, I'm a weird guy." I said with a chuckle.

A wave of panic floods me as I quickly turn around to check the clock. "Oh shit, I'm late for school!" I said running a hand through my messy hair. "You're a student?" Keith asks confused. "I thought you were older..." He seemed to be deep in thought at this realization. "Should I go or just... say home?" I ask Keith as I turn to face him again.

He raised his eyebrow and shrugged his shoulders. "Thanks for the help." I joke with him. "I-I'll just stay. Beside I feel I should get to know you."  "Not much to know really. I'm a monster that does monster things." Keith said walking into the living room and laying back on the sofa. "You don't seem like a monster to me." I said with a smile. He looked over at me with his mouth open a little in surprise. He quickly collected himself and looked outside the window "Whatever you say..."

Keith POV:

Lance decided to pull out some board games and we spent most of our day just doing random "bonding activities" as he called it. It was all pretty mellow till he pulled out a game called Twister.  Lance had to explain the rules to me as I've never played this game before. After that we began.

"Right hand Red." Lance said after spinning for me. I sighed and placed my hand on a red spot. "Now you spin for me." Lance said handing me the spinner with a innocent smile. I flicked the dial and read out what is landed on. "Right foot Blue." I said watching Lance walk over and placing his foot on a blue dot.

We continued till we where tangled in each other's limps. My arms started to burn from holding my body up in such a weird position. "Right hand Blue." Lance said grunting in pain. I looked over my shoulder to see that the closest free blue spot was right next to Lance's ... lower region. I let out a sigh as I careful moved my hand to the spot only an inch or two away from him.

I looked over at Lance who seemed to have noticed the placement of my hand and was staring at my arm. "Left food Yellow." I said, snapping him out of his daze. "Oh, right...." He moves his body to try and reach yellow but it just wasn't working. His body shook as it struggled to stay up. Soon his arms gave out and he crashed to the ground, taking me with him.

"Oh, my bad! You okay?" He said rubbing his arm. "Yeah, I'm good." I said wedging my hand out from under him. "Now I remember why everyone hates this game." He chuckles as he stood up and offered me a hand up. I looked at his hand then at him.

He was smiling down at me. The sunlight from the window behind him seemed to give him a heavenly glow of sorts. I took his hand and he helped me up. "Thanks." I said as I dusted myself off. "Is there I bathroom I can use?" I asked him, avoiding eye contact. "Yeah, down the hallway to the left." Lance said pointing me in the right direction.

I made my way over the the bathroom and locked the door. As soon at I clicked I let out a sigh of relief. I began to pant as I looked at myself in the mirror. I was a blushing mess. Lucky me I was able to hold it back this long. This guy was like no other. Normally I get summoned my mobsters and psychos, but this guys? He's an angel...

I splashed some water on my face and took a few breaths. Once my heart had stopped pounding in my chest I collected my emotions and left the bathroom. I made my way back into the living room to see Lance had made popcorn while I was gone. "Want some?" He said extending the bowl to me as I walked in front of him on the sofa. "Not thanks, human food makes me deathly sick." I said sitting at the other end of the sofa.

Lance looked over at me in a miss of hint and disappointment. "What?" I asked him clearly seeing he wanted to say something. "Why did you sit so far away?" He said with a hurt tone in his voice. "I... Im a little hungry and I don't want to accidentally eat you." I said trying to come up with something as an excuse for my dumb heartstrings.

Without warning, Lance crawled across the sofa closing the distance between us and moving his shirt out of the way of his neck. "If you're hungry you can drink from me, I don't mind." He said giving me a reassuring smile. I was awestruck by this. People normally run in fear at the thought of being food for a Vampire yet here he is asking for it.

I slowly make my way closer to his neck and sink my fangs in. I began to draw blood from him as he shivered. "Are you okay?" I asked worried. "Y-Yeah I'm good. Just feels... weird is all." Lance had sweat rolling down his face causing his beautiful blown hair to stick to his forehead. I casually brushed it off his face and continued to drink in small amounts.

Before long I realized Lance had passed out. I removed my fangs to found some wrapping cloth and tended to the fang marks on his neck. "That should stop the bleeding" I said to myself. I picked up the limp boy and carried him in my arms to his bed. I tucked him in and even put a glass of water on his night stand. "Goodnight." I said as I lingered over his bed for a moment debating on wether or not to watch over him. I figured he'd be okay for the night and quietly left his room.
