Lance's POV:
Keith still didn't feel good from last night, so I decided to go get some animal blood for him in hopes it would help. I quietly followed a small woodland animal before attacking it using the skills Keith had taught me the day before. I was on my way back to the cabin when I heard a twig snap behind me. I looked around to see what was there and I saw nothing, but my amplified smell told me otherwise.
"Who's there?" I said readying myself if something attacked. "I am not here to harm you. Instead, I'm here to give you a little advice. A glimpse into the future, if you will." An old lady said suddenly appearing right in front of me. I jumped back startled, waving my hands around to try an catch my balance for I fell. "Jesus, don't scare me like that!"
I got a good look at the lady, she had to be 100 years older then Keith! Her wrinkly face smiled softly at me, but her eyes held a glimmer of mischievousness. "Watch your language boy. Don't want any more enemies after you, hmm?" She chuckled. I raised my eyebrow in confusion. "Enemies? I thought my only enemy was Lotor?" I asked confused. She continued to smile at me as she spoke, "You wish. The moment you picked up that book back in the library you where on the monsters watch list." I knitted my eyebrows, "Monster watch list? That sounds made up." The raisin of a Lady shook her head. "Oh it's very much real, and it's very much a threat. If you hadn't summoned one of the more powerful monsters you would have died a long time ago. I know this for a fact." Her words sent a chill up my spine. "You see I have the... misfortune of seeing into time: Past, present, and future."
"Is that way your here then, to give me a warning for the future?" She nodded, "That is what I said, isn't it?" Her sentence was laced with annoyance. I mentally rolled my eyes as I spoke, "Sorry, so what's the warning?"
The lady held her arms out as if expecting a hug. I watched as a green mist of some kind poured out from her sleeves and formed a ball in between us. The mist swirled around like a calm tornado as dark silhouettes of people formed in the mist. "I come with a warning, to prevent you from mourning. The man who you most despise of, will kill mercilessly for his love." As she spoke, the silhouettes acted out what she was saying. I saw one of the silhouettes which had to have been representing Lotor squeeze another silhouettes by the neck, making it dissolve into the mist.
"He will stop at nothing till he gets his lover back, but just before then is when you attack." I saw a silhouette which represented me jump in from the sidelines into lotors back. "For if he succeeds there is no turning back, and everything will fade to black." My eyes where wide as I watched the mist slowly disappear back into the lady's sleeves. She looked at me with a smirk, probably patting herself on the back for mentally scaring me.
"What was that?! Everything will fade to black if I don't stop Lotor? Will he kill me or something?!" I said frantic for more answers. "I have told you all I can tell, do your best and use this well." She handed me an object wrapped in paper. It was poorly done, like a 4 year old trying to wrap a Christmas presents. When I looked up to ask what it was the lady was gone, leaving behind nothing but the faint smell of prunes and one very confused boy.
