If the title confuses you, let me explain. I was trying to be creative, and instead of putting Yuri and Ayumi, I just replaced their names with their name's meaning. Yuri means lily of the valley (in this case), and Ayumi means walk, pace.

And just let me say thank you so, so, so, SOOO much for over 1K reads! I'm literally shocked. Thank you so much for taking your time reading this!

Enjoy the funny moments compilation!

About an hour and a half or so later, just about everyone who was injured had gotten treatment.
-We have to have our guards up, since they can come here at anytime, since they've not heard from the guards in an hour and a half, Hak said to me. I nodded.
-You're right, we're lucky that Shin-ah is here, I said. Yoon then came out from the storage room. I turned my head his way.
-Ah, Yoon. How're they doing? I asked. Yoon looked back at me.
-They're doing well so far, but some of them have deep wounds that will most likely leave something permanent, like a scar or a disabled body part. Jae-ha's doing better too. I just can't understand how they could do something like this, it disgusts me... Yoon said with a hint of anger.
-We all feel the same... I said to him. Shin-ah walked up to us and looked down at me.
-Yona... People are coming... Shin-ah spoke, and right after Yuri walked up to us too.
-He's right, I can hear footsteps of about 10 people a bit away. They'll probably be here in about 2 minutes, she said.
-We'll have to have someone who stands by the door to get ready to attack, and someone who will guard the entrance to the storage room to protect the injured, Hak said.
-Yeah, I agreed.
-I can guard the entrance to the storage room, Kija said, coming over to us.
-If anyone succeeds in coming into the storage room, we'll take care of them! Arata said with a grin from a bit away, inside the storage room while helping a middle-aged man to drink water.
-I'll try to protect them too! Zeno said happily, though inside he truly didn't want to get injured at all. I sent him a smile as a thank you.
-I can get ready to attack by the main entrance. Hak, Shin-ah, care to join me? Yuri asked. Shin-ah nodded.
-Sure, Hak answered.
-I think I'll protect the injured, I don't want them to get any more hurt, I said.
-Just don't get hurt yourself, okay? Hak said, then walked to the main entrance to the room with Shin-ah and Yuri.
-While you guys fight, I'll keep treating them. I'm counting on you to keep them away, Yoon said to the three before he walked back into the storage room.

After two long minutes, someone opened the door. Hak, Shin-ah, and Yuri raised their weapons, ready to attack.
Through the door came first four men, then their brown-haired leader, followed by five more men. As they saw all of their comrades on the ground unconscious, their eyes widened.
-What has been going on here?! Ayumi shouted. She then noticed the three standing a bit away with raised weapons. When she took a closer look at the blonde female, she noticed the golden-yellow symbol on her right hand, and her eyes widened once again.
-Yu..ri...? What are you doing here?! She yelled at her. Yuri gripped her sword tighter.
-That's my question, Ayumi. What are you doing, kidnapping and torturing so many innocent people? Yuri said. Ayumi looked taken aback at how Yuri spoke to her.
-What's with the tone and look you're giving me...? You're just a crybaby!! Ayumi yelled at her again. Yuri furrowed her eyebrows.
-I've changed, Ayumi. I'm not the little crybaby I was 10 years ago anymore, Yuri spoke back. Ayumi gritted her teeth.
-Attack them! They're intruders!! Ayumi ordered. The nine men who were with her raised their swords and ran towards Hak, Shin-ah, and Yuri. They started fighting it out, and I noticed that Ayumi was looking around the room, like she was looking for something. Her eyes eventually landed on Kija and I standing by the entrance to the storage room. She narrowed her eyes, then tried to look behind us, though not clearly seeing what's in the room.
-Hey! I think the slaves are being protected in that room!! Kill those who try to protect them! She ordered three of her men. They nodded and tried to run towards the storage room, but Yuri then quickly got in front of them, holding her sword up.
-I won't let you touch them, she said. One of the men growled a little, then ran towards her and their swords clashed. While she was busy with the first one, the other two came running from both directions, ready to attack her. Yuri noticed, and said,
-Three against one? That's not very nice, she said and backed away from the first guy, ready to deal with the other two.
Hak seemed to have no problem, just slashing through three of them like it was nothing, the only problem was that they were persistent. Every time he attacked them with his weapon, they just came back at him no matter what wound they had just gotten, and it was starting to get on his nerves. Shin-ah was also having the same problem. The two guys he was fighting just came back at him. They may not be as strong as they were before they got injured, but they were still fighting alright.
-Kija, how do they keep fighting when they just get more injured? I asked.
-It seems that they are either just persistent and have great willpower, or they have trained to fight while in pain, though that doesn't change the fact that they are slowly bleeding to death if they keep going, Kija answered.
Then just when Yuri was holding back two of the men she was dealing with, the third one got a chance to go past her. He ran towards Kija and I, sword in hand.
-Kija! Yona! One of them's coming! Yuri yelled. Kija got into a fighting stance and I gripped my bow tighter, ready to take an arrow and shoot at any time. Kija ran towards the man, and sliced his sword with his claws. The sword fell into pieces on the floor. The man then got a scared expression, and ran away.
-Hey! Come back here, you coward! How dare you run away from a sacred dragon! Kija yelled, and ran after him.
Ayumi seemed really ticked off. She gritted her teeth, and took out a sword of her own and ran in my direction. I grabbed an arrow as fast as I could, and was going to place it on my bow. Ayumi came closer by the second.
Make it in time, shoot the arrow in time, Yona!
I drew back the string of the bow, then let it go, firing off the arrow. The arrow missed, it flew past Ayumi's cheek, causing her to just get a cut. Ayumi still kept running, then was close enough and raised her sword in the air. She was just about to slash me with her sword, when another sword stopped her's. Golden blonde hair came into my vision, and I soon realised that Yuri had ran over and stopped Ayumi from hurting me. They were glaring at each other.
-What are you doing, Yuri?! Get out of my way!! I need to get rid of that pathetic, weak, redhead! She seems to be the leader! Ayumi yelled with anger. Yuri's glare grew.
-I can clearly see that you don't know the slightest thing about Yona, because if there's something she's not, it's weak and pathetic. Yona is an amazing and brave girl, she doesn't run away when she's scared! So don't call her that!! Yuri yelled back. She used more strength and pushed their swords apart, gaining some distance between them. The two started fighting it out. They threw one after another slash with their swords at each other. Ayumi backed up.
-Why do you keep getting in my way, Yuri?! She yelled angrily.
-I can't let you keep hurting others, and do illegal things! Yuri yelled back at her.
-Why does it matter that I do illegal things and hurt people who clearly stand below me? I need these people, without them I can't have the business I have right now, can I? And if they disobey, they'll get punished to know their place! Ayumi then started laughing a little. It felt like her magenta eyes, filled with no sympathy what so ever for other beings, were staring into my soul, even though her gaze was on me only for a few seconds.
-And when I have enough power, soldiers, and trust from the castle, it'll be no problem taking over the Sky Tribe and rule over Kouka myself! That way I'll complete the plan my father made, who failed to complete it himself, and I'll get to rule over the kingdom! Maybe I'll attack the Kai Empire too and start a war... Ayumi said with a really happy expression, like she'd just gotten exactly what she wanted for her birthday. Both Yuri and I took a small step back in slight shock.
-...What?! So that's what you were planning this whole time?! To take over Kouka and start a bloody war?! Yuri yelled with fury. She clenched her sword tighter in her hand.
-And what are you going to do about it?! It's not like a few ancient dragons will stop me! They haven't been using their powers in ages, so they must be much weaker now! And that's just too perfect for me!! Ayumi said with a big smile and laughed. After a few seconds when she had calmed her laughter down, she looked Yuri straight in the eye, still with a slight smile on.
-And that goes for you too, Yuri. The Gold Dragon's powers were pretty useless to begin with, though~, Ayumi said mockingly. Yuri made a "tch" noise and took a step towards the brunette.
-It's not like I chose what powers I would have! I can't do anything about it! Sure, I don't have an arm or a leg covered in scales with super strength, my hearing ability can't do any physical damage! But I'll just have to make the best out of it and use it as much to my advantage as possible! Yuri yelled as she continued to walk towards her.
-Heh? So you want to continue fighting me, old rusty dragon? Ayumi said with a smirk and walked towards Yuri, raising her sword. They then ran towards each other as fast as they could, and their swords clashed against each other once more. Yuri pushed her sword away from Ayumi's, and then quickly slashed at her again, which Ayumi responded with blocking herself with her sword. They continued to slash at each other and block the other's slashes. Then suddenly, Ayumi found an opening and made a slash from Yuri's collarbone to her right shoulder. It isn't as serious as a slash across the stomach would be, but it looked pretty deep and the light blue fabric of her kimono was turning red pretty quickly.
-Yuri! I yelled out in worry. She stepped a few meters back and held her free hand over the wound and winced in pain. Ayumi grinned at what she had done.
-Well, I did say that you were an old rusty dragon, and I see that I was right! You call yourself a legend? she said. Yuri's bangs covered her eyes and she made 'tch' noise once again. She removed her now slightly red-stained hand from the wound and started walking towards Ayumi again. For a brief moment, it looked like the symbol on her hand shone. Just a quick spark, but I was probably imagining things, the symbol on her hand is nothing but a tattoo she's had since birth. She lifted her head up so that you could see her eyes again, and gritted her teeth. Ayumi narrowed her eyes a bit.
-What's with her eye colour? It seems bluer than it was before... I heard Ayumi mumble. Yuri suddenly sped up her pace and started running towards the brunette. She rose her sword up, preparing for an attack towards her ex-friend. Ayumi smirked and quickly brought her own sword in front of herself, prepared to block the blonde.
-Attacking me head-on isn't going to work! She said with confidence, but just as Yuri's sword was about to meet Ayumi's, she quickly swung her sword to the right, then left — across Ayumi's stomach before she had the time to react, creating a deep wound. Ayumi fell back and onto her knees, dropping the sword in the process, and a cough with blood escaped her mouth.
The other men from Kurohoshii seemed to notice their leader getting injured, and stopped fighting. They turned their heads towards Ayumi, looks of horror and worry on all of their faces.
-Lady Ayumi! They yelled, as Ayumi let out another bloody cough. Yuri just stood where she had been standing when she slashed Ayumi, her head hanging down. The Kurohoshii members did their best to support Ayumi and tried to do something about the wound. Hak and Shin-ah came running, and they hit the men with the handle of their weapons hard against their necks, making the eight fall unconscious.
-We should've done that from the beginning, Hak said.
Then suddenly, one more man with a Kurohoshii uniform came running towards us, but it seemed like he didn't come to fight or aid his leader, he seemed scared and high pitched screams were escaping his mouth. Not too far behind was a furious Kija with his dragon arm extended at him.
-How dare you mock a sacred dragon! Stop running away and face me! You call yourself a member of Kurohoshii?! He yelled at the high-pitch-screaming man. He let out the most high pitched scream I've ever heard in my life, I don't think even most girls can hit that note. Waterfalls of tears ran down his cheeks.
I grabbed a new arrow and aimed it at him, and while he was running against the wall, I fired off the arrow. He let out a startled scream as my arrow pinned his clothes to the wall.
-I see you've improved a lot, princess, Hak complimented. I gave a smile as a thank you. My eyes went back to Ayumi as she got on one knee (A/N No she is not proposing) and tried to get up.
-Tch... How pathetic I am, I can't even handle one slash to the stomach... She clutched one hand over her wound and winced in pain. A sword was slammed a bit into the ground in front of her, and when she looked up her magenta eyes met turquoise ones.
-I guess the old rusty dragon won, Yuri said.
-Don't be so happy.. about.. it... Ayumi said, before passing out because of blood loss. Yuri bent down and picked Ayumi up bridal style, and walked over to the storage room.
-Yoon... can you treat her? She's got a serious injury on her stomach and has lost a lot of blood, I heard Yuri ask with not a lot of emotion in her voice.
-Uhm, sure, but isn't this Kurohoshii's leader? The evil mastermind? Why would you want me to treat someone criminal? Yoon replied.
-...I guess I just don't have it in me to let her die, even though we weren't truly friends in the first place... Yuri answered quietly and put Ayumi down. Yoon gasped as he noticed her shoulder.
-Yuri, you yourself need to get treatment too! Yoon scolded her.
-I can get it treated when you're done with her, she said and walked out of the little separate room before he could argue. She ignored helping Hak, Shin-ah, Kija and I with dragging the unconscious men to the "Kurohoshii guards pile", as Zeno had named it. She sat down against the wall and had a distant look in her eyes.

...I guess there are some friendships you just can't let go of even though they may have not been entirely true from the beginning...

Okay, this was an intense chapter! I think this might be the longest chapter yet. Sorry for my bad fight-writing skills! It felt like the word slash appeared way too often, but I didn't know what word to use instead. So sorry for the really long wait! School has had me really busy.
