Chapter 10: Blackmailed

Graser's POV
"So you wanna go to the game room?" I asked Will, as he led us up a flight of stairs. "Yeah. They have pool tables and foosball, basically a guy friendly place." Will smiled in my direction, and I felt awkward around the rest of the boys. We arrived at the game room, and I immediately found a couch in the corner, and sat down. "Wanna play?" Asked Joel. I shook my head, and began to think of Stacy. She said this morning that she really liked me...As a friend?..Or more.. "What's bothering you?" I glanced at Red taking a seat beside me and Joel and Will did the same. "Don't tell anyone but,
I like Stacy.." I admitted, and sighed. We all paused, until Red spoke up. "You owe me a dollar Will." Red smirked and Will pouted. "What?" I asked with a puzzled look. "We betted on who you liked. I thought you still had a thing for Shelby or Bee." Finished Will, sighing. "And I thought you liked Stacy." Red pumped his fist into the air in victory. I snickered, then got serious. "This morning, she said that she really liked me...But I couldn't tell if she meant it as a friend or more..." I drifted off, and continued to wonder. "I've made so many mistakes, I don't think anyone wants to like a cheater like me." I ducked my head down in disapproval and shame. "We know you've changed. And you're sorry for what you did, dude." Red patted me on the back. "If Stacy does like you, she's got a lucky man." Grinned Joel, and Will nodded in agreement. "I feel like I still like Shelby and Bee tho-" "No one's gonna like you."

I gazed at the other side of the room, and noticed Callum and Scott, behind a couch. With a phone in their hands. I noticed Joey,  a guy named Oli that was new too, and Nathan with them. "W-what?" I exclaimed in disbelief. "I'm so sorry Graser! Callum said keep quiet or else he'll hurt us...and tell everyone who we like." Joey blurted out, and fear stung in his eyes. "We recorded everything you said. Ever since you started hanging out with the wrong group, it shows more and more about how much a jerk you are." Callum smirked, and tears filled my eyes. "Delete that now." Will stood up, and glared at them. "It'll be a shame if I told this to everyone in the grade, it's like you move on about girls so quickly." Scott wiggled his phone in my face, as I tried to grab it. "If you don't want Stacy to hear that YOU still like Shelby and Bee, your gonna listen to every word we say." Callum grinned and kicked Nathan. Nathan winced at the pain, but held it in. Nathan punched Callum in the stomach, but Callum just laughed. Scott grabbed Nathan's fist, and twisted it. Nathan yelped and stepped back. Callum and Scott bursted into laughter, and my fist clenched. "Stop hurting them you butts." I said, and stepped forward to them. "Oh and, make sure you listen to us very carefully. Or else secrets will be revealed." Callum gestured to Joey, Oli, and Nathan. I ran towards Callum, and pinned him towards the wall. His face turned into a dark expression, and he freed himself and escaped with Scott. Tears began streaming down my face, and we all paused, thoughts overwhelmed.

"It's all our fault." Joey admitted and hugged me. Nothing could make me better. Depression filled my mind, and I remember the days where I would stare at a knife all day long. "We were really scared." Nathan whispered, and sighed. "I deserve this. After all I've done, I really deserve this." I sobbed, and fell to the ground, and let my tears flow like an ocean. "We were sharing our crushes, in this room, until Callum and Scott came in, hearing every word we said, they were threatening us, until you guys came in. They said if we talked, they would spill our secrets." Oli explained, and sighed. "What do we do?" Joel asked. I shrugged, and wiped my tears away. "It's almost dinner." Joey said, with disappointment. "Should we tell the girls?" Asked Red. "It's all up to you Graser, you choose." Will patted me on the back, and I shook my head. "They could get humiliated by Callum and Scott if they found out. I don't want the girls to get hurt. I want to protect Stacy.." I whispered the last part, and took a deep breath. "Let's go to dinner."
