Annie's POV:
"We don't want you two together." Dad admits.
"Wh-what?" I whimper. Hayden squeezes my hand tight.
"We don't think it's right. And if you two break up, it'll ruin an amazing friendship. We don't want that. Especially since you work together so often." Mom explains. Actual tears form in my eyes.
"No." Hayden says under his breath.
"No. We're not breaking up." He says, louder this time.
"Hayden-"
"No!" He raises his voice, interrupting his dad.
"Why can't we be happy? We love eachother. And yeah, if we ever broke up, it would be awkward. But we can would make it work. I will never lose Annie just because I love her." He rants on.
"I'm sorry. We can't let it continue." Dad shakes his head.
"Hayden's right. We're not breaking up. We're 16, you can't force us." I say with tears falling down my face.
"We'll give you a moment." They say, leaving the room. Hayden holds me against his chest.
"I'm not doing it. I love you too much." I say between tears.
"Me either. I love you." He rests his head on top of mine.
"I love you too."

After a few minutes, our parents come back. It doesn't even phase them that I'm sitting here, crying, because they're trying to separate me from the boy I love.
"We'll see you in the morning." They whisper as Brooke and Rush walk in. As soon as the door closes, they run over to us.
"What happened?" The ask, looking us up and down.
"They want us to break up." I mutter angrily. Now that they're gone, I'm not only upset, but I'm angry too.
"I love you. I'm not leaving. I promise." He says, kissing the top of my head.
"We'll have to become a secret again." He sighs. I nod in agreement. I hated having to be so secretive with him, but if we want to be together, it'll have to work.
"Uh... We're just gonna go to sleep." Brooke laughs awkwardly, slipping under the covers of her and her brothers bed. Hayden reaches over me to turn off the small lamp on the table before lying in bed next to me.
"I'll never lose you." I remind him, wrapping my arms around his muscly body.
"I know. I know."

The Next Day...

Hayden's POV:
I wake up with a groan in the morning. The bright Hawaii sun is shining brightly in my eyes, and it's woken everyone up except Annie, who is shaded by sleeping on the other side. I kiss her head before I slip out of bed and grab the hotel phone. Brooke and Rush order their food, and I already know what Annie will want.
The second the food gets into the hotel room Annie jumps awake.
"Oatmeal?!" She squeals in excitement as we all laugh.
"Oatmeal." I tease her, pushing the bowl towards her as she rushes to sit down. We chuckle some more.
We eat fairly quickly, and then get ready for the day. Everyone agreed on the plane yesterday that we would spend the day at the resorts pool, since it's so extravagant. It's a huge pool, with a 'lazy river' that seems to stretch for miles. There's even a spot that leads to the ocean.
We hurry to get ready so we can be on our way. Annie is wearing a white bikini that brings out the tan glow in her skin and shows off her curves. Her hair is natural, with her gorgeous brown waves.
"You look beautiful, the usual." I say, planting a kiss on her face.
"Thanks babe." She grins. Rush and Brooke groan.
"Come on love birds, it's time to go." Brooke giggles. Annie and I hesitantly separate. We can't be close around the adults, or we'll just get in more trouble.
Our room regroups with everyone else, and I get the evil eye from Annie's dad. (He's quaking duh.)
I just walk next to Hayley. They can't stop my brotherly relationship with her.
"You excited?" I ask, punching her shoulder.
"You know it!" She laughs, lunching me back.
"Ouch!" I whine sarcastically, which just makes her giggles more.
Soon enough, and were at the pool. I make eye contact with Annie, who obviously has an idea.
"Mom, Brooke and I are gonna go in the lazy river." She tells her mom. Suddenly, Rush steps in.
"Hey, can Hayden and I come with you guys? I've been dying to check it out."
Rush acts. I hide a smirk.
"Have fun kids." Her mom says. I swear I hear her mumble something along the lines of 'don't get too close' as I walk by, but I can't tell.
"That was a good plan." I chuckle, running up to the pace of Annie as soon as we're out of sight.
"Actually, I was just gonna leave with Brooke and then tell you and Rush to follow as I walked past, but it worked out perfectly." She admits.
"Uh, yay I guess?" Rush questions, and we laugh.
We reach the lazy river, and it's amazing. Just as the hotel website said, it stretches along miles and miles of the property. And it's almost realistic looking, with everything from trees to rocks and sand lining the river. The only thing giving it away is the bright blue chlorine water.
I pull Annie in with me, and she squeals as our bodies hit the cold water. She splashes me when we come above water.
"I hate you!" She jokes, splashing me again as Brooke and Rush jump in.
"You love me." I tease her. And she tries not to break her serious face with a laugh.
"Fine." She groans, and I smile before giving her a peck on the cheek.
Everything is going to be okay.
I hope.
