Billy's POV:
When I get my hands on Hayden Summerall, I'm going to make sure he never sees my daughter again.
Annie would never do this. She would never run away from her family in the middle of the night with a boy. We didn't raise her like that. It was him. The boy I thought I knew like another son.
I called the police two hours ago. Despite it being Hawaii, they spoke English and started a search instantly. So far, Annie and Hayden aren't in close vicinity. As I speak, they're still looking.
"I'm done with this. They're separating rooms, not leaving without an adult, nothing." I growl to my wife and Jimmy.
"Billy, we've got to think about this. The whole reason they left was because we wouldn't let them be together." She reminds me.
"But that was for a bad reason. We have serious reasoning this time." I shake my head. I've never been this disappointed in my daughter.
"Shouldn't we just let them be happy so this doesn't happen again?" Jimmy defends. I disagree with him. They should've know the consequences for their acts.
This is all their fault.

Annie's POV:
Hayden and I decided we would come back tonight. We really don't want to give up; we only been gone for two days and we've been the happiest since we got together. No drama, no sneaking around, just being together.
We're laying on the bed together in silence. We don't even need to say anything. Just being in each others presence with some peace is all we need.

A few hours later...

It's time.
"So this is it." I sigh. We both know our parents will do anything to keep us apart after this. He nods, unable to speak. I'm speechless as well. Maybe this was all a mistake. Maybe we could have fixed this.
I hesitantly call our taxi, who tells us he'll be here in just 5 minutes. I'm not ready for this. I never will be.
Hayden intertwines his hand with mine before grabbing his suitcase. I do the same. We walk out and down to the lobby.
I lean my sleepy head on his shoulder as we sit on the stone bench outside. I can barely keep my eyes open. I don't want to.
Too soon, our car is here. We both realize it's only hours until we're back and in more trouble than ever. I take a deep shudders breath and take a step into the car. As soon as Hayden shuts the door, we're off.

Hayden's POV:
Annie leans her head on my shoulder as the quiet woman driving takes us to our destination. I hold her hand in mine, watching the flashes of fire and lights outside the windows near the beaches. I can't stand it; seeing people so happy. I'm terrified for what's about to happen, and these people are having the most carefree time of their life.
Too soon, much too soon, we arrive. I thank and pay the lady and awaken the sleeping Annie from my shoulder.
"Babe... We're here." I say hesitantly. She jumps awake, giving me one last giving look. We step out and grab our bags, left alone by the car as we stare up at the hotel. This is it.
Annie follows me up to wards the elevator. It's already 10:00 Hawaii time, so there's not a person in the hallways and elevators. It's when we're standing in front of the door that it really hits us. I feel so ashamed and embarrassed that we ran off just to come back two days later. We caused so much stress and drama. And now, we have to deal with our mistakes.
Knock knock knock.
Annie's mom opens the door. She instantly throws her arms around Annie and tears up a little.
"You had me so scared. Please never do that again." She says, rubbing a tear away from Annie's cheek.
"I'm sorry. I just couldn't do it." Annie apologizes. It's as soon as they hear Annie's voice that Billy and my Dad come to the door. Dad gives me a hug, rubbing my back like an old friend. Annie and I step in, prepared for a huge pep talk.
"Listen. We're sorry we broke you two up. We now understand that the reasons behind it were horrible and heartbreaking for you two. But this was too far. Running away from us in a place we don't even live in? We're disappointed." Katie tells us. She rests a hand on my knee. I always loved Katie like another mom (especially since my real mother is usually in Texas while I'm in L.A) but now I don't know if she'll ever see me past the boy who took her daughter.
Before Billy can tell us what we all know what he wants to say, Annie interrupts.
"Dad, I already know what your we going to say. And no. Hayden and I aren't breaking up again. In fact, everything is going to go like it was before. We're going to share a room with Brooke and Rush, we're going to be close, and we're going to be a couple. Unless you want to lose me forever, you're letting us be happy." Annie argues, grabbing my hand yet again. I just nod. She always knows what to do under stress.
"I-"
"We'll talk more tomorrow morning. I'm the meantime, we need some rest. Goodnight." Annie interrupts, walking out of the room with her suitcase. I follow.
We unlock the room we originally shared with Brooke and rush. They jump on us almost instantly.
"Ohmygodyourenotdead!" Brooke shrieks, hugging us both. Rush is more controlled, giving us both a side hug before stepping away.
"We're sick of the drama we caused. As convincing our parents to let us be a couple or were living again back in L.A." Annie says, setting her bag in the ground.
"Oh wow... I hope you guys figure everything out." Brooke wishes us. I walk out, leaving the three to catch up. I walk over to the last room. My brothers room, + Brec. Jimmy answers the door, giving me what feels like the 100th hug in the past 20 minutes.
"You idiot! Next time tell me before you run away." He chuckles. He's not as mad as I thought he was.
Dylan, my brother closest to my age (also closest to me personally) is next to talk to me.
"Thank you for texting me Dylan. I'm sorry we stressed you out so much." I apologize.
"You guys got back safe?!" Brec interrupts. She throws her arms around me too, acting like the older sister I never had. Dylan just chuckles.
"Yeah. We're figuring stuff out with our parents tomorrow." I grin. Tonight has already gone way better than I expected.
"Hunters asleep. You go get some rest, there's a lot of explains for you to do tomorrow." Dylan says, patting my back before walking away. Brec waves, turning around to smile at Dylan and walk back to their room.
When I finally get back to mine, I see Brooke and Rush already asleep in their bed. And of course, Annie too. She looks adorable; snuggled up in a ball in the corner with a pillow. I climb into the bed with her, resting a hand on her waist. I can barely see her sleepy grin through the pitch black light, but I can tell its there.
"Tomorrow will be better. I love you.

I hate this so much idk why ansjsjska
