Annie's POV:
"Annie. Annie. Wake up."
Hayden runs his fingertips up and down my arms, sending shivers down my spine. I sit up, thankful he didn't shake me awake.
"Time to go." He offers me a hand, pulling me up from the comfortable bus seat. I grudgingly follow him off the bus where I was resting, where we regroup with everyone else.
"There's another luau at the hotel tonight. Go to your rooms and get ready, meet up again in the hall after." Brooke and Rush's dad announces. Now more awake and pulsing with energy, I walk at a normal pace and stop dragging my feet. We walk up to our rooms, and separate to go get ready.
Brooke helps me decide on an outfit. We choose a white dress decorated with a dusty pink floral pattern. It makes my tan skin and dark hair stand out even more.
I wear some strappy tan leather sandals, as we were told the luau is taking place on the beach, where everyone ends up kicking off their shoes anyways.
Brooke, being the daughter of the Rock Your Hair creators, helps me curl my hair into loose waves. We finish off my look with some light makeup and a white flower in my hair.
Brooke is wearing a flowing red dress that goes just below her knees. She makes her blue eyes pop with some red lipstick, and adds a red flower and some shoes similar to mine. We're suprised, as we look good and got ready in under half and hour.
Hayden was ready after only ten minutes of getting ready, along with most of the other guys. At luaus, people of the culture usually dress quite simple. We just like to add a fancy touch.
As soon as I walk out, Hayden's jaw drops. I can see his eyes running along the shape of my body, the dress hanging off of it perfectly. Even I am surprised how nicely it fits.
"Beautiful." Hayden grins, walking towards me to give me a kiss. I grin; he truly makes me feel beautiful.
We walk out to the hallway to meet with the others. And of course, only one person is missing; Paige.
"Just one more minute!" She giggles. I'm sad she's leaving tomorrow. She had to cut her trip short, as she has to see her fiancé Curtis to start planning for their wedding. It'll sure be different not having her around as much when she's married and moves in with Curtis.
After the few minutes, she finally walks out. Her makeup is beautiful, as usual.
Our huge group makes its way down to the luau at the beach. It's only a short walk to it, as its owned by the hotel.
I link my arm with Hayden's, and we fall behind the the back kid the group. I compliment Brec, who is wearing a black sundress that ties at her neck. I don't believe I've ever really seen her wear the color, and it's very flattering on her.
"You're so nice." Hayden says, tapping my nose to tease me. I glare jokingly.
Finally, we reach the party. Several families have already seated themselves at the round tables, and we do the same. 'Kids' at one, adults at another.
Once we have all our things scattered st the table to signal that it's taken, most of the 'kids' split off into the growing luau. A Hawaiian man sings a song, women dancing happily behind him.
"What should we do?" I ask Hayden. He shrugs, before pointing at the Hawaiian tattoos. It's actually just ink stamped onto your skin, but the thought of having the cultural temporary tattoo is cool.
Hayden and I get the same one; a small black symbol of the power of love. We cringe, but it's cute at the same time. After our tattoos have dried and we can finally move our arms around without the fear of smudging it, we walk over to the dancing area. Hundreds of people have arrived at the luau, and at least half are slow dancing. The song ha adorable, containing no words and only small instruments.
"Let's dance." I giggle, pulling Hayden towards the dancing area. He groans, but gives in. He wraps his arms around me waist, his hands resting against my hips. I almost have to lift myself with my feet to reach around his neck, and he laughs. He thinks my height is cute, even though I hate it.
Once were finally positioned, I rest my head against his chest as we rock back and fourth slowly. I could stay like this forever, in his arms, dancing in the sunset. This has been one of the best days of my life.

Hayden's POV:
After the song is over, I can see my dad and Annie's parents checking on us in the corner of my eye. Shrugging it off, I give Annie a kiss. I might have heard a gasp, but that could just be me.
Annie smiles wider than ever, and we walk back over to our table so we can wait for the food being served soon.
What really suprised me is what happened next.
I feel a hand on my shoulder. Before I can say anything, I turn around to see Billy.
"Can I talk to you for a moment Hayden?" He asks, his voice sounding genuinely happy. I follow him, despite Annie grabbing my arm to try and stop me. She's afraid, but it seems as though nothing's wrong.
"Billy, I'm sorry if that was crossing the line." I admit.
"No. In fact, I'm glad you did that. We would have never seen what just happened. I'm telling you, I haven't seen my daughter smile like that in years. I'm talking since Caleb died." He says. His hand is on my shoulder again.
"I'm sorry for what we caused earlier this week. But we've truly realized what a perfect guy you are for our daughter. Thank you."
He shakes my hand, walking back over to his table.
"What did he say?" Annie asks anxiously, asking as soon as I sit down again.
"He was... Happy. He saw your smile and said he hasn't seen you that happy in years." I say, still suprised they were so supportive suddenly. All they needed to see was his truly happy Annie is now. I personally agree;
She hasn't been this happy in years.
