The Nanny

Chapter one

"Hello welcome to fryers ,what can I get you?"Lacey smiled

Jamiee cringed.She hated Lacey's guts .Her ex-boyfriend ,Devon dumped her for Lacey.

Jamiee was in the back frying stuffed jalapeños .She had been working at fryers for seven months now and already hated it .Lacey did everything she could to make Jamiee upset or jealous and it worked .

"Jimmy!Micheal wants you !!" Lacey called out front .jamiee turned the burner off and walked to the front to see Michael .Thats another thing,Lacey didn't call her "Jamiee" she called her jimmy.

"Ooh you look terrible "Michael smiled .Jamiee rolled her eyes,but couldn't help but smile anyway.

"So whatcha want?"Jamiee asked

"Well"Michael said checking his watch ."It is 3:31 ,your lunch break time ,so let's go sit at a booth ".Jamiee agreed .They sat by the window .

"So how you been?"Michael asked.Jamiee smiled knowing he was talking about her breakup.

"Good,but it's Lacey I just want to ,ugh "Jamiee groaned

Micheal laughed as he watch Jamiee do hand motions of choking a person.

"Strangle her?"he said

"Yea that " Jamiee laughed.

She pulled off her hat,some strands of hair falling from her bun landing in her face.She tucked them behind her ear.

"I'm just tired of this job"she yawned

"Well get another one then"Micheal shrugged.

"If it was that easy I would ".

"Oh that reminds me ,you know how you like kids ?"Michael smiled sitting straight up.Jamiee raised an eyebrow,but nodded .

"Well my brother needs another nanny to watch his almost three year old daughter Mimi .I mean he'll pay a lot more than you think,but you have to move in with him too because he works almost 24/7".

"What about college?"Jamiee wondered

"Oh yea he has an office ,you can work on his computer".Michael said

Jamiee thought.She wouldn't have to pay rent on her apartment and can use that money to save for a car.Last but not least she wouldn't have to worry bout Lacey.

"I wanna do it"she found herself saying.Michael beamed

"Great well I'll come get you tomorrow about 9 in the morning so be ready".

Jamiee nodded "okay boo ,see you later".Michael gave her a hug and left. Jamiee threw her hat back on and got to work.

"How's Mimi doing?".Henry asked Trey on the phone.Trey was Henry's best friend from high school.He had babysitted Mimi today.Henry props his feet on his desk,undoing his tie.

"Well Kayla put her to sleep ,but let me tell you something NEVER AGAIN will I watch that demon child".

Henry chuckled knowing Mimi could be a pain in the butt.

"I knew you couldn't handle it".

"You ain't found no nanny yet?".trey asked surprised.Henry signed .

"No I haven't,but there's some girls applying for it tomorrow ".

"Okay then,what time you getting off?"

Henry chuckled "you that ready for her to leave?"

"Yea ,I love her but she gots to go".

"Okay well I'll be there about 9:30 ish"

"Okay then"Trey said

Henry hung up the phone and got back to work till his phone buzzed again.

"Hello?"he yawns.

"Hey handsome,wanna go get some dinner?"Michelle purred.

Henry signed.Michelle just wouldn't leave him alone .Ever since Monica left him alone he's been fooling around.

"No I'm good ,thanks for asking ".he says wanting to hang up.It was only a one time thing He thought hanging up the phone.He gets back to typing on the computer.
