Chapter twenty-three

"Look me drew"Mimi says as Jamiee comes from the kitchen with a bowl of fruit .Jamiee looks down at the paper and noticed Mimi had Drawn a picture of her,well a stick figure with a huge head and short black hair.

"Ooh pretty"Jamiee says kissing mimi on the cheek.

mimi smiles."Tou like it?"

"I love it "Jamiee says about to take a seat on the couch when there's a knock on the door.she opens the door to see Michael standing there holding an frozen yogurt bag.

"Boo!"jamiee smiles setting her bowl on the table and running to Michael giving him a kiss on the cheek.mimi looks at the bowl of fruit on the table and starts eating it .

"How you been bae?"Michael smiles .

"Good ,I have a lot to tell you"Jamiee says looking at Mimi who was watching cartoons and eating her fruit.

"Hey mimi? " Michael says giving Jamiee a kiss in the cheek.

"Hey unkie"mimi says as Michael steals a kiwi out of her bowl.

Jamiee walks into the kitchen and takes a seat at the island.

"Alright ,so what's up?"

Jamiee smiles taking a deep breath "henryaskedmeoutlastnight!!!"

"Wait what?!"Michael says clearly not understanding .

Jamiee signs "henry asked me out last night"

Michael smiles "what'd you say?"

Jamiee smiles "I said yes"

Michael smiles "congratulations ,I almost thought you were gay for a second whew!"Michael says pretending to be wiping sweat off of his head.

Jamiee laughs punching him in his arm.Michael laughs.

"Shut up"

"So what you doing today?"Michael asked .

"Nothing"jamiee says"why?"

"Just asking ,what time did henry leave?"

Jamiee signs biting her lip"around 5:30 or 6"

Michael nods ."Netflix?"

Jamiee smiles widely "I'll get started on the popcorn ".

Jamiee hops out the shower and wraps the towel around her .she walks out the bathroom into her room and throws on a pair of underwear,and fluffy black socks not bothering to put on a bra. .looking through her drawers she notices she doesn't have any clean pj's,so she the towel back around her and walks to Henry's room and grabs an grey

t-shirt .the shirt had fell to her mid thigh .

She rubs her hands through her wet curly hair and signs looking around his room.

She hand already put Mimi to bed after Michael had left which was about an hour ago .it was now 9:45.she walks back to her room flopping on her bed just as her phone rings .

"Hello ?"

"Hey ,what you doing?"

Jamiee smiles realizing it was henry .

"Just got out the shower,you?"

Henry signs"just made it back to the hotel"

"Did you eat today?"

"Yes mom"henry says smiling .Jamiee was always worried about something.

Jamiee laughs into the phone."I'm sorry for asking"

"Let's FaceTime I wanna see you"henry says out of nowhere.

"Okay ......"Jamiee says.

"Okay I'll call you"

Jamiee nods even though she can't see him .

Henry then calls back on FaceTime .Jamiee clicks the button and Henry's face appears up on the screen .he smiles at Jamiee his eyes shining bright.

Jamiee flips over on her back holding the phone up .

Henry looks down at Jamiee and notice she has on his T-shirt .

"Are you wearing my shirt ?"henry asked.

Jamiee blushes "yes i don't have any clean pjs at the moment ,I'm sorry"

"It's okay"Henry smiles"you look good in my clothes.especially without a bra"he smirks .Jamiee gasps her phone slipping out of her hands hitting her square in the face.henry laughs knowing she was embarrassed. He also knew that phone got her Good in the face.he looks at the screen and Jamiee face reappears .she was now laying on her stomach.he noticed her face was red .

He smiled"you okay?"

"Yes I'm fine"Jamiee blushes.

Henry chuckles "I know your face hurt"

Jamiee blushes harder "stoooop"

Henry uses this time to screenshot a picture of her .

"So how was work?"jamiee asked trying to change the subject.

"Exhausting" henry says.

Jamiee yawns stifling a yawn.

"Hey your tired ,you need to go to bed"henry says.

"No,i don't want to go to bed" Jamiee says "I wanna finish talking to you "

Henry smiles "okay ,you put Mimi to bed ?"

"Yass.oh! and Michael came by"

"He did?what for "

"He came to-

Jamiee yawns again "im sorry "she smiles.

"Goodnight Jamiee "henry smiles.

Jamiee pouts "night henry"

Henry hangs up the phone and slides off the bed walking to the kitchen to grab a soda out the refrigerator.as he's about to go back to the room when there's a knock on the door.. henry opens the door to see Sarah .he raises an eyebrow .

"Yes?"

"Well here's the files I finished"Sarah hands henry the files.

"Uh huh "henry says scanning them.sarah smiles at how adorable henry looked .he had on black sweats, and a grey sweatshirt .

His hair all messy like.

Henry looks at her to see her smiling "what?"

"Nothing "Sarah smiles .

"Well alright then you have a goodnight"

"You too"Sarah says flipping her hair off her shoulder .henry noticed she had on black yoga pants and a purple tank top. Sarah turns around and walks off.
