The Nanny

Chapter three

Henry rubbed his hands through his hair for the thousandth time.not being able to work anymore .Alls he kept thinking about was Jamiee .her smile and eyes were just so memorizing .He couldn't wait for tomorrow .

He looked over at Mimi .She was knocked out.shes been asleep for five hours ,since Jamiee left.

He turned the computer off and walked over to Mimi picking her up.he was going to take her to his parents.mimi signs .which causes him to smile.

He grabs the keys and her Green froggie back pack.locking the door behind him he runs in to Sarah .

"Hey Henry "she smiles

"Hello Sarah"he smiles.

Sarah touches Mimi's fingers.

"She is so beautiful "she smiles

"She is"henry says walking down the hall.Sarah followed .

"Do you wanna come over tonight?"

Henry stopped realizing what she was trying to say.

"I can't "he lied "I gotta help the new nanny"

"Is it that Jamiee girl?"she asks as they get in the elevator.

"Yea how'd you know?"he smiles

"Why would you hire her?"Sarah says disgusted

"What do you mean why I hired her?,i already liked her and apparently Mimi does too"

Sarah scowls feeling hurt .she was jealous of Jamiee already .there wasn't anything to be jealous about Jamiee though Sarah thought.

"Well bye Sarah see ya later" Henry smiles.he knew Sarah was jealous of Jamiee it was quite obvious ,and amusing.henry put Mimi in her car seat and buckled her tightly.his phone buzzes.

"Hello"he answers getting in the car and pulling out of the parking lot.

"Hey baby"his mom says.he signs.

"Hey mom ,what's up?"

"Are you bringing Mimi over?"

"Yes I am mom,but why'd you call?"

"did you hire a nanny ?"

"Yea ma'am"he says stopping at a red light.he thinks about Jamiee how she had calmed Mimi down.he looks through the rear view mirror at Mimi and smiles.her head was hanging out of the car seat.the light turns green.

"What's her name?"

"Jamiee"henry smiles

"Is she pretty?"his mom asks.

He signs .when his mom said pretty she meant does she dress nice ,wear louboutins ,guess ,and etc.But Henry liked Jamiee just the way she was.

"It doesn't matter ,I'm pulling up"he says hanging up. He pulls in his parents driveway,turning the car off.

He gets out the car and grabs Mimi out of her car seat along with her back pack.Mimi's eyes open lazily.

"Hey beautiful " Henry says kissing her for head.she lays her head on his shoulder he walks up the porch and into his old home.

"Mimi"his mom says grabbing Mimi .Mimi pouts she wasn't a big fan of grandma .she was a daddy's girl.

"What's up son?"henry dad smiles giving him a hug.

"Sup dad"henry smiles.

"Black opps?"

Henry nods"black controller"

Henry and his dad played black opps every time he came over.they walked into the game room leaving his mom with Mimi .

Jamiee brushed her hair into a neat braid bun.today she had on army cargo pants,a white T-shirt,and white flip flops.she had already had her stuff packed ready to go.she had heard her front door open and panicked.it couldn't have been Michael because he was at work.she ran down the hall to see Henry picking up her packed suit cases.

"How'd you get in here ?"she asked as she watched him pick the suit cases up with ease .

"The door was unlocked"he shrugs.

"oh,okay then let me help".

Jamiee pics up a suit case and walks out the door ,down the stairs.

"Over there"henry says .

Jamiee jumps and turns around to see henry pointing to an old ,black ,ford truck.

"Nice car"Jamiee says walking to the car .she stands on her tippy toes and puts the suitcase in the back.henry does the same.

"Thanks"henry smiles "this was my first car I got in high school,her names Roxy."

"You seriously name your cars ."Jamiee smiles.

"Yep"he says .

They walk up to her apartment and lock the doors.then get in the car pulling out of the driveway.

"So where is Mimi ?"she asked

"With my parents"

Jamiee nods rolling down her window .

"So how old are you?"henry says.

"Um twenty -two"Jamiee yawns.leaning into the seat.

"What about you?"she asks.

"Twenty-nine"henry says serious.

Jamiee jumps up quick.

"Seriously ?"

Henry laughs "naw I'm joking with ya ,I'm twenty-four ,will be twenty -five next Saturday ."

Jamiee nods.

She lays back in her seat and signs.

"I gotta go pick Mimi up from my parents"he says Jamiee nods.

"Okay ,do what ya gotta do"
