The Nanny

Chapter two

Jamiee stood in the mirror looking at her reflection .Today was the interview .She had on some blue-jean skinny jeans that had rips ,brown combat boots,and a blue,white,and brown collar button up shirt.Her hair was in a neat bun.She had applied light make up.

"Are you ready?"

Jamiee jumps up startled .Turning around to see Michael leaning on her bedroom door.

"You scared me".Jamiee breathes.

Michael chuckles."i know".

Jamiee grabs her phone putting it in her back pocket ,along with her key.

"Let's go"she smiles .

They walk towards the front door.

"Are you nervous?"Michael asks.

Jamiee shrugs "a little".

They walk out to his black mustang getting in.

"Don't be ,you already got it".Michael says starting the car.He pulls out of the parking lot heading to his brothers job.

"How do you know?"Jamiee asks.

I just do "he shrugs. Jamiee nods.

They pull up to a tall building.Jamiee gulps .

"Alright let's get this job "Michael smiles .Jamiee nods again wiping her sweaty palms on her pants.they get out the car and walk in the building to see people rushing everywhere .they were all dressed in suits.they got on an elevator.

"Just relax "Michael said .

"Okay Andrews "Jamiee chuckled.

The elevator comes to a halt and opens.there was less people on this floor.

"Hello Michael "a lady says coming up to us.she had long straight blonde hair,light brown eyes,and red lips.she was tall and slender.had on a white blouse ,pencil skirt and black heels.

"Hello Sarah "Michael smiled.

Sarah looked at Jamiee ,and smiled.

"Hi"

"Hello"Jamiee smiled.

"So what brings you here?"Sarah asks Jamiee .

"Um well I heard about the um.."Jamiee laughed shyly .

"She's gonna become Mimi's nanny"Michael said.

Sarah nodded"oh okay"

They walked down the hall to a door that said" Johnson's office".

Just then a girl comes out looking upset.she had on a mini red dress .Jamiee wrinkled her face.

She looked left and there was a line of girls waiting impatiently.

"Lady's mr. Johnson said he's done for the day" a woman smiles stepping out of the office. she was short and plum ,but very beautiful with her innocent blue eyes.

"No"Michael says "let her go"he points to Jamiee .

The lady looks at Jamiee.

"Come on Jamiee "Michael says grabbing Jamiee arm.the lady ushers them in the office to see a man with his back turned trying to get the little girl from crying.

"Henry"Michael says .the man turns around and Jamiee and his eyes meet.he was handsome with his broad shoulders,light brown sandy hair,and brown eyes.he had stubble oh his cheeks and chin .it made him look even more handsome.

"What is it?" Henry asks annoyed looking at Michael .the little girl cries louder .she was probably sleepy Jamiee thought .

Before Michael could say anything Jamiee walked over to the little girl ignoring Henry's stare .she picked the little girl up and laid her head on her shoulder patting her back.the little girl wrapped her small arms around Jamie's neck and sniffled.

Jamiee notices it's quiet and turns around to see three pairs of eyes looking at her amused.

"She wants to be the nanny"Michael says.

Henry nods "okay Michael you can leave now ,and Cheryl you can go home now I'll talk to um.."

He looks at Jamiee .

"Jamiee"jamiee smiles.

"Yea"he says

Cheryl nods "bye sweetheart" and walks out the door.

"We'll call me afterwards Hun "Michael smiles.

Jamiee rolls her eyes ,but still smiles anyway ,patting Mimi's back .

"Bye boo "she says.

Michael walks out the door.

"She's sleep right?"henry asks

"Yes " Jamiee nods.

"Well you can lay her down on the couch over there"henry points.Jamiee lays Mimi down then sits in the chair in front of Henry's desk.

"Jamiee right ?"he says sitting in his desk chair.

"Yes" Jamiee says nodding.

"So you and my brother huh?"he smirks.

Jamiee chokes on air.

"No he's my best friend"Jamiee coughs.

"Okay well you have the job,but just to let you know she's a handful ,and since you're friends with Michael I suppose he told you everything."

"Wait that's it?"Jamiee says.

Henry nods."yea I seen what you just did there,I'm surprised she let you grab her.she was mean to the other lady's ,i don't know why she let you grab her."

"Because I'm different"Jamiee says seriously.Henry smiled.

Jamiee breath gets caught in her throat.his smile was breath taking.he had long dimples.

"I suppose ,did Michael tell you that you have to move in?"

Jamiee nods"yep"

"How soon can you move in?"he asks

"As soon as your ready"Jamiee smiles.

"Do you have a car?"

"No"

"Boyfriend ?"

"Nope"

"Family members that stay down here?"

"Mom yes"Jamiee said .she wondered why Henry needed this information.

"Okay well every week you'll get $1500 added to your account not unless I add more ,is that good?"

Jamiee raises and eyebrow "don't you thin that's a little to much?"

"Nah I think it's just right"he smiles again. Jamiee shakes her head.

unbelievable she thought.

"Will move your stuff in tomorrow okay?" Jamiee nods .

"Thank you so much for hiring me I won't let you down "Jamie smiles brightly standing up.

"No problem"henry says standing up also.they shake hands.

"Well I should be heading home now"Jamiee says .

"Do you have a ride?"he asks

Jamiee shakes her head "I wanna walk home ".

"You sure ,I'll take you home"

"No I fine thank you "Jamiee smiles again.she walks out the door leaving Henry stunned
