3 Months Later

A lot has happened these past few months. I finally moved out of my mother and fathers house and into my own apartment. I had went back to college and was majoring in Biology. Niall and Sabrina were officially a couple now. Every time I talk to her she's telling me about how much she loves her "leprechaun." I couldn't help but feel jealous. Harry and I hadn't been on good terms for awhile now. Not since the incident...

I was driving home from work when I decided to stop by Harry's. Walking up to his door, I notice a red car in his driveway. "I wonder who that is," I said to myself. I knocked on the door for a good two minutes before Harry came to the door. "Oh erm, Austyn what are you doing here? I thought you were working tonight." He's nervous. "I got off early and wanted to come by and surprise you." He won't let me go inside. He's blocking the doorway. "Well nows not really a good time, I-" After sensing some weird vibes, I push Harry out of the way and make my way inside his place. When I see who's sitting on the couch, I almost vomit. "Laney?! What the fuck are you doing here?" I'm pissed. Laney Davis was Harry's ex girlfriend and his longest relationship so far. They had dated about two years ago and Harry was so in love with her. She ended up cheating on Harry with his best guy friend, Kyle. For months after that happened, Harry was more shielded and reserved with his heart. I couldn't stand Laney; she had hurt my best friend and she had the nerve to show up after two years of no contact? No explanation as to why she broke his heart. "Hey Austyn, its been awhile. I called Harry and told him I was in town and he invited me over." I look at my boyfriend. "what happened to never wanting to see her again, Harry?" He looks ashamed. "Well this has been fun and all but I must be going," Laney says as she slips her shoes on. She walks over to Harry, "we should do this more often," she says smirking. I look at Harry who is avoiding eye contact with me. "Harry, what is she talking about?"
"Austyn, sit down there's something I need to tell you." I felt my stomach drop. "The past few weeks, Laney and I have been speaking again. She told me that she was sorry for everything she did when we were dating. I invited her over for dinner and one thing lead to another and..." Oh no. "We ended up sleeping together. I'm so, so sorry baby," he tries to grab my hands. "Dont touch me, Harry. You cheated on me and with your ex of all people! You told me you loved me and that we were meant for each other. Why would you do this to me?" I'm full on sobbing at this point. Before he has a chance to apologize again I stand up and say, "Harry, an apology isn't going to make it better. You hurt me and all I did was love you. I just, I dont think we should see each other for awhile. I think we should take a break."

Since then, the conversations I've had with Harry have been few and far between. He'll text me sometimes telling me he wishes he could turn back time and that he is in love with me. As much as I miss him, I can't bring myself to forgive him- not right now at least. I received a text from Liam earlier telling me that they were having a show at The Otra. A local music scene. After a lot of convincing from Liam, I decided to go. It was summer and I had decided to wear high waisted denim shorts with a flowy off the shoulder black top. My hair was down and I decided against makeup. After grabbing my purse and phone, I make my way to the show.

"There are a lot of people here tonight, its nice to see the boys getting some recognition." I say to Sabrina. The boys were about to perform when Harry walks out on stage. I must admit, it hurt my heart seeing him after so long. He looked so good tonight. He was wearing a plain white shirt, skin tight black jeans and his favorite black boots. His hair had gotten longer and he had a black piece of fabric wrapped around his forehead. "Um, hello everyone, we're One Direction and before we get started tonight, there's a few things I have to say," His eyes met mine. "Austyn, I know I fucked up and hurt you. I'm so sorry, you didnt deserve that. I'm an idiot and I know that. You're my best friend and you're still the love of my life. There's more I need to say and will say but for now, this is for you." My heart was in my throat. {A/N: for this next part, you should watch the video I included. It makes the scene seem more real. 🙂}

A beautiful melody started playing and behind the boys was a pull down screen. As the boys started singing, pictures of me and Harry throughout the years were displayed.

I couldn't stop the tears from welling in my eyes as I watched all the memories that were lighting up the screen. Pictures of Harry and I as kids hanging out. Pictures of Anne and I at her wedding. Pictures of Harry and I being goofy. I miss those times and I miss him. No denying that. My eyes focused back to Harry.

The spotlight was focused directly on Harry and our eyes were glued as he sang, "And if you like cameras flashing every time we go out,

Everyone, including myself erupted in applause and cheers. I watched as all 5 boys took a bow on stage. I loved Harry so much and if he and I were going to have a future, or even a friendship, then we have to have a serious talk.

{A/N: What do you guys think so far? I'm love/hating this story but I'm working on it.
