PLEASE READ IMPORTANT NOTICE
Hey guys
As you may or may not have noticed I have changed the cover and updated the blurb of the book recently, this is because I plan to edit/rewrite the book, there will not be drastic changes (as of yet) but I will be adjusting the chapters to how I see the characters now. If you have been sticking with Finding football awhile you will know how long I have been writing this book and over that time my view of characters have changed, the main characters purpose will be kept the same but I may change their personalities a bit as I feel they have gotten lost over the years. I will keep the book published for you to read but there may not be any new updates for a while just slight changes. I appreciate all of your patience as I know I'm not a regular updater but hopefully by renewing the book a bit I will begin to feel the love to write it again. I have wrote this chapter for you to hopefully keep you tied over for a while.
Thank you for everything my amazing footballers

Rosalies POV
I tried to slow my breathing but it wasn't working, despite my effort. We were all sprawled around our living room after todays practise trying to catch our breathes. As usual the week was getting anything but easier we were on day four now meaning aching muscles and lots of complaining.
"Ahhhh, everything hurts." Ty complained from across the room.
"Remember you asked for this. We gave you all plenty of warning." I said rolling my eyes. It was quite a sight seeing fully grown guys moaning so much, I swear I was tougher than them. "Now you've just got to suck it up."
"How do you guys do this everyday?" Mason breathed, sweat still rolling down his face.
"With lots of practise." Bren said. "It doesn't come easy too us, it's been a lot of hard work to get where we are."
It was true I can remember the days where I laid on the kitchen floor back in Cali because I didn't have the energy to walk upstairs after practise. Now looking back I could see how far I've come but Bren was right it took a lot of hard work.
"What are you guys doing?" Can't we be left to ache in peace... I thought as my dad entered the room, "You all look like something the cat dragged in. If your all gonna stick around at least go up and get showers, I prefer my lounge to stay BO free. Boys lend them some clothes. Come on now, look alive."
All of us begrudgingly pealed ourselves off the couches and trailed upstairs. This was one of the bad sides of having a room so far away, you got peace but a long walk. We all parted ways at the top of the stairs, leaving me, Bren and Jamie to find our rooms along with Matt and Austin.
"Austin you can come and shower in the room next to mine. Matt you follow Jamie he'll show you where to go and give you some clothes to change into." With that Bren and Jamie took off leaving me to walk the halls.
I let my fingers skim the side of the wall as I went, it's something I've always done. I remember my mum chastising me for it, complaining the I would make her walls dirty, I shook my head, well she's not here now and never will be again if I can help it.
When I reached my room I headed straight for the shower wanting to get rid of these sweat ridden clothes as soon as I could.
Droplets of water ran down my skin as I reached back to comb my hair though my fingers. This town was really starting to grow on me, I just hoped that the rest of town was as good. I was happy with what I had here... acceptance, even if it was only by a few it was enough, for now. Maybe I would never be able to show everyone who I really was but this town made it seem like anything was possible.
I stepped out of the shower and changed into some fresh clothes before heading out to my room, wet hair dripping down my back. I froze mid step.
"Austin?" He was sat on one of the couches in the corner. It was weird seeing him here, in my room looking around like everything fascinated him.
"Hey, sorry your brothers told me where your room was. I hope you don't mind."
"No, not at all." His hair too was still wet from showering.
"I just thought that you might want these back." He said reaching into his bag and pulling out my dress and shoes from last week.
"Yeah, thank you. I completely forgot about those. Oh you probably want your stuff back too let me just go find them..." I trailed off as I headed for my closet.
"It's fine really. My mom said you can keep her stuff they were old anyway and as for my shirt I have tons, I won't miss one."
"You sure. I mean thats so kind of you but I couldn't keep your stuff." I argued still searching through my closet. My plan to keep things tidy had been thrown out of the window as per usual, somethings you just can't change.
"Honestly it's fine. I don't think my mom would take no for an answer anyway, when she's set her mind to something there's no changing it." He said, taking a seat back on the couch.
He looked so at ease sat in my room, it was astounding to say we've only known each other for a week, you would have thought we'd have been friends for years.
"You did pretty well out there today." I said. I meant it as well he had poured everything into that practise I could tell, we were both similar in that way, in our passion for football. Crossing the room I went to sit on the other side of the couch.
"Pretty good? Only pretty good." He laughed, "I was pretty much keeping up with you lot."
"And that's why I said 'pretty good', when you can keep up I will say you did a good job. You've got to earn your statue around here, it could have been worse I could have said 'you tried'. That's where I started off with my brothers." I smiled shaking my head, when I decided I wanted to start football I could barely throw twenty yards, yes I had drive but it took a long time to get to where I am now despite my dad insisting I have natural talent.
"I can't imagine you at that stage to me you'll always be-" His phone started ringing, picking it up he looked at the caller ID. "Sorry I have to get this."
"Hey Maria, what's up?" Maria? Who's Maria? "Of course I'll be there right away." My face dropped, at that moment I was glad he wasn't watching me. This girl must be important if he would just up and leave, "See you in ten, I love you too." He said hanging up. Love you?
"I'm sorry I've got to go." He said picking up his stuff.
"It's fine." I shrugged trying to look at anything but him.
"I'll see you tomorrow at practise though." With that he headed for the door and left me.
My heart sunk, which surprised me. Of course he has a girlfriend, probably prettier and smarter than I would ever be. I rested my arms on my knees. You've know him for a week, what are you doing? Pull your self together Rose.
