Chapter 35

Renee stood on her feet and glared at the Beast. He was yelling over his hand being cut right off, but he quickly turns his screams into laughs.
"You are something quite special." He stood to his feet and has he did, his arm that was on the floor flew up to him and reattached itself. After a few cracks it seemed to be perfectly fine. Renee's expression as blank as she watched the Beast, waiting for his next move.
"Now lets see who has stronger dark powers." He said and attacked Renee. He sent a punch to her left and she moved to her right. She punched him while using her earth element. It forced him down into the ground, leaving a huge crater in it. Once the fog cleared he wasn't there, but she sensed where he went. He had jumped up and was about to attack Renee, but she moved and when he landed she kicked her right foot high which sent him into the tree. The Beast was getting quite annoyed with the Princess's new power. He started transforming. Suddenly black wigs ripped through his back and his claws grew longer. He pushed off the tree right at Renee. Renee stomped her foot and rocks from the ground were floating above her at her command. With a snap, there began flying towards the Beast. He dodges them and reached Renee, he swiped his large claws at her. The Beast was using all his energy and was getting tired. Renee on the other hand, was fulfill of power and was ready to end this. Renee grabbed the Beast's arms and flipped him over her shoulder slamming him into the ground. She stood above him.
"It's over Beast. Accept your defeat." Renee said coldly. Her pity black eyes stared at him.
"Not yet princess. Not yet." He flipped himself out and kicked the Renee in her stomach, making her move back. Her feet slid against the ground, when she was about to attack she froze. The Beast had her necklace in his hand.
"I gave you this dark power. I should be the one to take it away." And without another word, he crushed the purple diamond shape amulet. It broken into pieces and fell into the ground. Renee fell down to her knees, she didn't feel the same. The force field she had put up had fallen and she felt completely weak. Not only when her necklace was broken her dark power was taken but your elements were gone. The Beast walked over to Renee, who was on her knees trying to stand. Her horns had disappeared along with her elfs ears and the markings.
"You're just a human child they sent to die here."

He pushed me on my back and now I was looking up at the sky. The stars were scattered across the sky, they twinkled and shined. That's when I heard my name being called. I turned my head and saw everyone telling me to get up. But I couldn't, he took my power and I'm powerless. I can't save anyone, I was in over my head about this. Now everyone will die because I had to make a stupid promise. My mother was trying to get to me, but LeTar held her.
"Run.. get away.." I say softly. I know they can't hear me, I can barley hear me.
"You are no Princess. You are a pathetic human who has no place in this world." The Beast was standing over me, with a black sword. It's blade was sharp and it had a evil feeling to it. "But since you put up a good fight, I'll eliminate you're family then come to you." He turned on his heel and walked over to my family.
"Stop." I tried sitting up back I couldn't. Brianna, Lincoln and LeTar pushed everyone behind them. Any closer he would be able to kill them. I started crawling over slowly.
"I said stop." He ignored me and kept walking towards them.
"Please. Don't." I was so tired, I was fighting the urge to go unconscious. The Beast began fighting with Brianna, Lincoln and LeTar.
"Just stop." He knocked down Brianna, then Lincoln. It was him and LeTar and I know LeTar is strong but I can't risk anyone else getting hurt.
"Don't hurt them" I say quietly to myself. I push myself on my feet and I barely can stand.
"Leave my family alone, you freak." I roared. The Beast had his sword raised, he was about to strike LeTar, who was on the ground. He lowered it and turned towards me. With a smirk on his face, he walked in my direction.
"You have no power here. You are useless and done for. You're-"
"I'm the hero!" I yell out, cutting him off.
"You're not-"
"I'm the hero!" I yell out again. He keeps trying to talk and I keep cutting him off. We're now face to face.
"You're nothing-" he starts off.
"I'm the hero." I say looking him right in his fiery eyes. He yelled and raised his sword to strike me, I wouldn't be able to dodge or block it. My eyes shut, I'm sorry everyone.
"Renee no!" I heard Autumn yell. Something began through me, my eyes shut open. And everything began moving in slow motion. I looked up and saw the Beast sword a couple of inches from my face, I back away. Suddenly I hear a voice a very familiar one.
"Don't give up on your promises, for the people of these world." It's Ms. Optus's voice. I looked to my side and see all the creatures who came and helped me. They look scared and worried. I looked over to my family, I've been so happy here with them. I can't just give up, can I? I looked at the Beast. What's your story huh? I grab his sword and suddenly time resumes to it's normal pace. He's taken back by how I grab his sword.
"What's your real name?" I ask him while releasing his sword. He looks shocked by my question but ignores it. He swings at me but I jump back. He continues swinging at me and I move. There's not much I can do without my necklace, but soon I'll get tired and be defeated.
As I thought that, he swings his sword so fast, I don't even know where's he's aiming. I feel a sharp pain enter my body and when I look down he has stabbed me right on my side. My blood is staining my clothes and my eyes are getting extremely heavy. I hear everyone yelling my name. I look over and see my family and friends running towards me. They'll get hurt if they come closer. Aiden and William are at the front of the group, holding their swords. I know they're hurt, but I know it's time to do what's expected of me. Delilah is expecting to me to do this. I leaned against the Beast, resting my hands on his shoulders. He watched me in disbelief.
"I promised to save everyone." And with that I begin glowing. White lights begin flying circling around the Beast and I. Strong winds are blowing around us and it's stopping anyone from getting to us. I feel myself transforming into something but I don't know what. I thought my powers were gone since he destroyed my necklace. Pain rushing through my body, not only because of the stab wound but because I was changing into something. The light coming from me grew brighter and there was a sudden blast, that sent the Beast and I back. I was thrown back to the left side of the tree, while the Beast was moved to the right of the tree. We were on opposite sides of the tree, but could see each other. I landed on my feet and took a look at myself. I felt powerful. I was still wearing the shirt Aiden gave me with my black pants and boots, but something felt different. The stab wound I just received was healed and not even a scar remained. I took a breathe and looked over at the Beast. He was shocked just like everyone else. I knew this would be it, no more chances or mistakes. I have to end this now. I raised my hand and my force field raised again. But instead of it being purple, it was white with gold markings on it.
"How is this even possible?! You have no powers, you're suppose to be dead." The Beast growled out. I begin walking to him, I raised my hand to my chest, where my necklace would be. I took a deep breath and began pulling. I pulled out a silver sword, with a white stone in the handle.
"Lets finish this." I say calmly. He glared at me, completely pissed off. He stood to his feet, picking his sword that was still covered in my blood.
"Fine." He spat out. I could feel everyone's eyes on us. I looked over at LeTar and nodded my head. He knew what I was going to do, because this was it.
