Swan Queen Once Shots

she's grouchy because she cares.

"Ow Ow Ow! Regina stop it!" Emma said in a whiny voice as she tries to hop away from the brunette woman who was walking after her. 

"Oh stop it Emma, just sit down and it won't hurt as much." Regina rolled her eyes and grabs the blondes arm, she looked up to see that the woman in question was glaring at her. 

Emma huffs and looks down at her leg, "its not a big deal i just need to put some water on it to clean the blood off." She continues walking towards the downstairs bathroom where she knows her rags are. 

"Maybe you shouldn't have been an idiot and you wouldn't be in this situation at all." She yells after the woman and follows her, "Go sit down Emma I'll get the cloth and antibiotics. You're trailing blood everywhere!"

"It's my house what does it matter?" Emma was searching through the drawers as she was talking to the other woman. 

"Emma go sit on the couch in your living room or so help me I will make you." Regina was done with Emma trying to take care of herself while she is hurt, she doesn't need to anymore she has friends and family. 

Emma stopped looking in the drawer and over to Regina to see if she was being serious or not. "Reg-" she didn't even get to finish her sentence because she was poofed to the couch. "NOT COOL REGINA!" Was all the brunette heard from the living room and she couldn't help but smirk. 

She grabs what she needs from the drawers and then heads back to the living room, "Don't even start with me Miss Swan. You promised me you wouldn't do that and you did." 

Emma rolls her eyes and leans back on the couch with her arms crossed, "It's not a big deal Regina, I was just playing with Henry." 

"You were-" she huffs getting frustrated before the sentence finished. "You were not playing with Henry you were showing off- no wait- trying to show off to Henry's friends, which by the way you completely failed at when you fell on your ass." She sits on the table across from where Emma was and moves the blonde's leg so it was in front of her.

"I almost made it, then you came storming out there screaming my name and I got distracted! It's your fault I'm injured." She defended, then pouted slightly replaying in her head what she had done, "It would have been so cool."

"When you bought Henry that stupid contraption-"

"Skateboard."

Regina glares and stops what she was doing for a second before continuing as she speaks. "When you bought Henry that STUPID contraption, I told you that if you were idiotic enough to try something dangerous on it that I would destroy it and yell at you. I did both." She smiles like shes proud of herself. 

"Henry is going to hate me because of that! He loved that thing, he finally got used to that one. They bonded," She sighs and continues pouting at the woman.

"It's a piece of wood on wheels, Emma, not a puppy." She wets the cloth and moves to put it on Emma's skin but she jerks her leg away causing Regina to drop the rag in shock and look at the blonde. "Emma! It's only water right now!" She scolded the younger woman, "I'm just cleaning up the blood."

"Be careful, you didn't seem like you were going to be careful since you still had your happy evil face when you were thinking about how you set his skateboard on fire."

Regina just pulls her leg gently back to where it was before and shrugs, "How else would you have expected me to destroy it?" She smirks and makes eye contact with emma, "Fire is my thing remember?"

Emma rolls her eyes, "You shouldn't have destroyed it period. Henry is going to blame me, that board was finally comfortable under his feet and he tried to tell me not to do anything stupid so it wouldn't get destroyed." Regina raises an eyebrow at Emma, "Yes he did resist having me touch the skateboard but then I almost did that thing and he told me to keep trying."
