I woke up the next morning and decided to explore my new surroundings.I hopped off the couch.I sniffed the air,the floor,and the things in the room.Everything was so new to me. I had never seen such strange things before.I jumped up on top of something flat and tall knocking off a bunch of metal objects.
Al's POV
I was in Brother's room while the little girl slept talking to Brother about what we were gonna do.All of a sudden I heard silverware being knocked down.I went downstairs to the kitchen.I saw the little girl on top of the counter."What're you doing up there" I asked. "Um..I was just.." she said nervously."You're not in trouble if that's what you think.Are you hungry " I asked opening the fridge.She nodded."What is my task" she asked."Task ? You don't have any tasks here" I replied as I grabbed some fish out of the fridge and set it in front of her.She looked at the fish confused then back at me."You mean im not allowed to eat today" she asked."What" I said looking at the girl."You must be used to the old way you were taught.Its ok if you don't have a task, you can still eat.You're allowed to eat whenever you want just let me know when you're hungry" I told her."Go ahead and eat the fish or do you want something else ?" Her eyes lit up and she bit into the fish getting it all over her face.I smiled and chuckled a little at her actions.
Readers POV
After I finished I licked my lips and cleaned my face with my "paw." I looked up. "My names (Y/N)" I said."Al" he told me."Glad you liked the fish." "Nice to meet you Master Al" I said.
Al's POV
I blushed deeply."M-master ?" She nodded."You're my Knight In Shining Armor who came to rescue me right ? That makes you my new Master" she explained. "Uh...oh o-ok.What are you exactly" I asked."I'm a neko" she said."You've never heard of them ?" "I've heard of them but I've never seen one up close.I thought you might've been a chimera but I didn't want to assume or upset you by calling you that." I said. She flinched.A tear rolled down her cheek."I-I'm sorry I didn't mean to make you upset please don't cry" I said hugging her. "Its not that" she sniffed."Its my mother." "What about your mother" I said wiping away her tears."She was attacked by a chimera and my father..he just left her for dead " she said."Im so sorry" I said hugging her again.
Reader POV
My tail swished and I knocked some sort of circular object off.It hit the floor and smashed into pieces."I-Im sorry.It was an accident" I said my eyes tearing up.
AL's POV
"Hey it's ok like you said it was an accident so no need for tears.Just watch you tail."I said putting all the pieces together in a pile and using alchemy to fix the cup. I then picked the cup up fixed and back to normal.
Reader POV
I stared at the circular object."You're not gonna p-punish me" I say slightly confused."No of course not.Why would I do that ?" he asked.I stared at him then lift up my bangs to reveal the left side of my face which is completely bruised.I also have a scar above my eye."Oh God he hurt you like this" Al says and grabs a rag.He put some water on it and touched it to my face."I won't hurt you or ever punish you" he promises."Would you like to take a bath" he asked.I tilt my head in confusion."What's a bath" I wondered out loud."It's when you get clean" he told me."You never had one " he asked. I shook my head and began cleaning my ears."You see...I've never been outside the lab before" I told him."Oh" he said.
Al's POV
I picked (Y/N) up and took her to the bathroom and began letting the tub fill up with water.I turned off the water when it got to a certain height and set (Y/N) down."You just um..." I blushed again."take off your clothes and get in then use the rag and soap to wash your body" I explained.She stared at the water."But...but I can't swim" she said."You don't have to swim just sit in it" I told her.She shook her head."W-would you like me to j-join you so you won't be scared" I asked looking away as my face heated up.She looked at me"Ok.Is that something humans do" she asked."Sometimes" I said still looking away."You have to bathe so you can get clean."
Readers POV
I looked at the water unsurely.I touched it then yanked my"paw" out shaking it off."I don't know about this.You First."
Al's POV
I blushed and nodded."o-ok" I took my shirts and pants off but left my boxers on and climbed in the tub."See?"
Reader POV
I hesitated.I took a deep breath and got in making an annoyed face I HATED water.
AL' POV
I chuckled a bit then grabbed a rag and began washing (Y/N).She flinched."Hey don't worry.I said I wouldn't punish you" I reminded her."I'm just washing you" I said washing her back."Master" she said."Yes" I replied."What are you thinking about" she asked."Your hormones smell a lot.""I-I...um...nothing." I blushed redder than a tomato and quickly got out of the tub and wrapped a towel around my waist."Y-you can use a towel to dry off with.I'll bring you something to wear" I stated and left the bathroom quickly.I came back with one of my shirts for (Y/N) and handed it to her looking away."H-here, you can wear this" I said.She took the shirt and looked at me."Master your hormones are out of control" she said."D-don't say such things" I slightly shouted making her jump.Her eyes teared up.I took a deep breath."Sorry I didn't mean to yell.It's just embarrassing to hear you say that" I said petting her ears."S-sorry I don't know much about human" she confessed.I nodded."That's understandable" I said."Put the shirt on then you can explore the house if you want." "Okay" she said slipping it over her ears.
