As the night grew longer and the rain poured down on the small cottage I called home. I sat at a window ceil messy hair, oversized jumper, small shorts and a huge cup of hot chocolate. My hair intertwining with the glasses that were preached upon my face. My computer laid a few inches away, low light threatening to shut down as the storm rolled upon the darkening sky. It truly makes me happy to see the rain fall from such great lengths carrying on in the night air. The sky lit up once more time showing a magnificent deep bleeding purple that laced the sky. My heart jumped with joy as I stumbled for my camera. There I waited for the sky to light. *click* *flash* I quickly uploaded the photos I had taken to my computer bringing it back to life. My breath hitched as I stared at the master piece satisfied by how the bleeding purple sky mixed with passion in the storm above with it. Still sitting upon the window ceil I turned back to my huge coffee mug that had hot chocolate inside. Raising the cup to my lips I had a single strike to the core of my creative writing. My fingers quickly found the keyboard as I just followed along with the moves my brain made. My legs were cross-legged as I noticed when I wrote it was just something that happened naturally. There was a knock on my door as my writing had stopped. The storm still roared outside becoming stronger with each gust of wind. My heart beating fast as I slowly approached the door with caution. I opened the door to see a man slightly taller than me soaked from the weather outside.

"Good evening, may I come inside till the storm passes?" The mysterious man asked kindly as he didn't want to frighten me.

"S-sure, come in."

My voice was light and shaky as I let the man into the warm cottage. He put his jacket on the hanger while his clothes still clinged to his body. My mind instinctively went to grabbed a few old clothes left by best friend.

"Try these on, I hope they fit. The bathroom is down the hall and on your left."

The man kindly accepted the clothes leaving his shoes by the door. I noticed the dirt along with the type of jacket he was wearing. He must be a hiker of some sorts I thought as I returned to the spot by the window. My body curled up against the window ceil as my forehead was pressed against the glass.

"May I sit." He asked gesturing towards the empty seat on the window ceil. I nod slightly still looking out the window the sky changing colors. I noticed the man beside me was examining the night sky as well.

"Anders. Anders is my name and you are?"

"Kingston, weird name right?"

Anders laughs slightly the corner of his lips curling upwards. He looks at me his brown eyes flashing so much emotion in them at once. Making it hard to not stare at him.

"I think it's cute."

He whispers under his breath thinking I couldn't hear him. My cheeks flush a dark red as I bit the inside of my cheeks. Anders what a weird name I've never heard of till now. I guess we have something in common with our names and interest in nature. Why would he be so far out here for? He could be a murder for all I know, but he seemed like a person I could trust...maybe.

"So...what are you doing out this far."

I ask my voice coming off a bit shaky as I wasn't the best in social groups, all my best friends lived in the city and tried to visit as much as they can. They've always had the city dream but I preferred more the quiet wilderness as it gave me many ideas to write about.

"I was going to ask you the same but I'm a journalist. I'm trying to find something about nature I suppose. Now, what about you? What's such a handsome man doing out here in these woods, you like to hunt? or are you a murder?

"Well, to answer your question. I'm just a guy who likes the woods and quietness. I write about many things mostly getting my inspired in the forest. It's a great place to clear your mind and relax. That's one of my friends' favorite thing to do is." He nods looking out the window as I wrote an email to my friends telling them all they should come up and relax soon.

"What's your favorite book at the moment?"

Anders asked trying to grasp onto anything he could so we didn't sit in complete silence. I thought for a few seconds as I had just recently finished a book online that is a part of a squeal. It was very leading and it had such mystery to it.

"The Bones of the Demon King"

Ander suddenly was bouncing in his seat excitement rushed through him. I weirdly looked at him and ended smiling at the dork in front of me. I pulled up the book as he widely smiled at me.

"I know the author of those books, she's actually my sister." My face turned from a smile to complete shock. I had just recently found this author and I already loved her works from just the demon king series.

"No way! You've got to be joking with me." He nods his head and pulls out his phone. He was calling a number from his contacts named 'sis'. When the owner of the number picked up he smirked and answered the phone.

"Yo sis! I'm in the middle of the woods at the moment and a kind gentleman who loves your stories is sheltering me, I thought I'd let you know."

"Oh my lord, really? Well, it's nice to meet you, stranger. I'm really glad you like my works. What's your name?" My heart stopped as she actually asked for my name.

"I'm Kingston Miller."

"WHAT, no way I love your short stories and works they are amazing." I felt my face flush a red as she talked so fondly about me. I've never thought of my stories as amazing only good enough to made a living.

"Well, they aren't that great but thank you so much for the kind words."

"Well, sis we gotta go talk to you later, bye love you"

"love you bye! bye, Kingston!" I laughed as he ended the phone call and apologized for his crazy sister. I smiled this day couldn't have been better. Suddenly Anders grabs my waist and brings me closer to him. My breath hitches we were only a few inches apart. He gently cupped my cheeks pressing his lips against mine. Shock washed over me as I kissed back enjoying the moment.

"Sorry, but I couldn't resist. You are the cutest thing I've ever seen." I giggled wrapping my arms around him. Maybe we were rushing things but this was perfect.
