Just before closing time, I hear the door alarm go. I see Anna stood there again.

"I thought I told you were barred from coming in" I say.

"And I told you I wanted Tony back" she screeched. She sounds drunk. I hear Mike behind me.

"Get out Anna" he says, pushing her towards the door.

"Not until I have Tony back" she wails.

"Listen to me Anna. Tony doesn't want you. He doesn't like you. He thinks you're a slut. Because you are. He is happy now with Charlotte so go. Far away preferably."

She storms outside and I see Tony in the car park.

Uh oh. She marches up to him and throws her arms around his neck.

He jumps back but not quickly enough.

I walk over, spin her around and push her away.

"Get your slutty hands off my boyfriend" I say, dangerously quiet.

She jumps towards me and I move at the last second. She loses her balance and falls to the ground.

"Back to where you belong, eh.Stay away from us, you crazy cow."

She gets up and lunges at me again.

Mike has come outside by now and scoops her up, walking off with her screaming over his shoulder. I run back to the shop with Tony right next to me and we collapse on the floor laughing.

"Come here" he says, pulling me towards him.

"You saved me from a fate worse than death. How can I ever repay you fair maiden?" he says, smiling.

"Ice cream" I answer, smiling right back.

We hear Mike frantically knocking on the door so we let him. We finish doing everything for closing up the shop and lock up before piling into Tony's car.

Anna is nowhere to be seen thank goodness - or I might have felt the urge to actually hurt her. One armed or not, I'd have her!

As it's so late, we drop Mike off before heading to mine. We're both on late shift tomorrow so I'm hoping Tony will stay.

We go into the house to find my mum sobbing.

I run over.

"What's the matter?" I ask.

"Your gran is in hospital. She's had a bad fall and they say we need to go back ASAP" she cries.

I turn to Tony in dismay.

"I'll help you pack" he says sadly.
