Gran's funeral is today. Tony and Jaime are coming as they're still here. We are all flying back tomorrow. Tony doesn't let go of my hand throughout the entire service and Jaime has his arm around Becky. They didn't bring suits or anything so yesterday we took them into town to buy stuff. We bumped into Mandy again. She gave me a massive hug and told me she's glad I was found ok. I introduced her to the guys as an old school friend. She did apologise and that's more than I ever thought she would.

As gran's coffin is lowered into the ground, Becky and myself put a red and white rose from each of us on top and we sing Calon Lan, her favourite Welsh hymn. We are both weeping the whole time but manage to keep our promise we had made that morning.

I'm sad she never got to meet Tony. She would have been charmed by him I'm sure.

Later on at the wake, my parents tell me that Becky and I did her proud. This makes me cry - it's the first compliment I've had off them in a long time.

I go outside for a cigarette with Becky and we hug.

"I love you little sis cuz" I say. "You'll have to come out and visit us ASAP."

"I am. I'm flying back with you tomorrow" she says, smiling through her tears.
