— IT was 3 now, and i'm not gonna lie i was pretty excited to watch christian's practice. he says it will be good for me to see him in his "natural habitat". boys huh, real charmers. since i'm not a big baseball fan, i started asking around on how good christian actually was. turns out the kid made all-state 4 times and lead the team to 2 state championships. who knew? i know what you're thinking; how could the hot shot baseball player's own girlfriend not know anything about the damn sport? and apparently boys have an obsession with getting pictures taken while they're playing, so i was also on "take pictures of christian duty." as my boyfriend liked to call it. "babygirllllll!" i heard a familiar voice yell. "hi christian." i smiled. "mhm hi baby." he smiled as he wrapped me into a hug. he was wearing his baseball uniform and lord did he look mighty fine. "lookin cute hot stuff." i winked. "all for you my love. but listen i gotta get going to the field, walk with me?" he said giving me his hand. "sure." "so how was your day?" he asked. "it was alright, kinda boring. yours?" "same old shit babe." he smiled "am i here just to take pictures of you or what?" i laughed. "no! i actually want you to see how i play." he said defensively. "fine, but you better be good yelich. i don't want to watch a bench warmer." i smirked. "trust me, i'm gonna be in the MLB one day. just watch." he said. "dream big honey, dream big." i'm not going to say i don't believe in christian, because that would be wrong. but i don't fully think he will make it to the MLB. i mean, he's just awkward. he's an amazing athlete yes, but i just don't think baseball is for him. maybe golf? or even football! i would never say this to his face though. "nor, can i ask you something?" he said as we were steps from the field. "of course." "yelich! let's go!" i heard one of the coaches yell. "i-i'll tell you later, bye." he said as he pecked my cheek and ran off.
