— I
left the school. i didn't feel like being there anymore, and i told maya to tell christian i went home. i felt horrible. i had detention for the first time in my life, AND i would have to delay my date with christian. i decided to drop his jersey off at his house since i couldn't give it back to him. i parked my car in my driveway and walked to the yelich home down the street.
i rang the door bell, and was greeted by his mother.
"hi, can i help you?" she asked.
"hi, i'm nora. i'm one of christian's friends from school. i'm here to drop off his baseball jersey. he left it for me earlier and i never got the chance to give it back." i said as i handed her the folded jersey.
"oh thank you sweetheart! christian has told me a lot about you. please, come in!" she said as she leaded me into the house.
"you have a beautiful home mrs. yelich." i said.
"thank you honey. but please, call me alecia." she smiled.
"christian talks very highly of you, nora." she said.
"aw really?" i giggled.
"yes! i've never heard him talk about a girl as much as he does about you! he annoys the crap out of his brothers." she laughed. a few moments later we heard the door open and saw two smiling faces.
"speaking of them, nora this is collin and cameron." she said as she pointed to the boys.
"hi." i waved to them.
"wait you're nora, christian's girlfriend right?" collin asked. i giggled.
"i guess you could say that." i said.
"you're even hotter in person." cameron said. i blushed.
"excuse me cameron, that is your brother's girlfriend we are talking about! go take a shower, both of you!" alecia said as the both the boys made their way upstairs.
"i'm sorry about them." she laughed.
"it's fine! i have a brother so i know what it feels like." i chuckled.
"oh really? what does he do?" she asked.
"he's in the navy." i said proudly.
"good for him! christian's father and uncle were both marines." she said.
"do you want a drink sweetie?" she asked me.
"no i'm good for right now, thank you though." i said.
"so nora christian told me you're a straight A student. maybe you can help him get his grades up too." she said.
"yes i am. christian is a very smart boy alecia, he just has to apply him self to school as he does to baseball." i said. she seemed impressed.
"you're a very well spoken girl nora, i like it. what do your parents do?" she asked.
"my mom is a nurse and my father is a lawyer in the city. my mom went to harvard and my father went to ucla." i said.
"wow! the brains must run in the family!" she smiled.
"yes, they certainly do." i blushed. i didn't realize the time was about 3:00 and christian would probably be getting here soon.

christian's point of view:

the game ended later than usual since we had to go into over time, and we won! i couldn't wait to find nora. after i got changed in the locker room, i came out and looked for her, but i only found maya.
"hey maya, have you seen nor?" i asked her.
"she went home christian. she got into a fight with quinn." she said.
"a fight? like a fist fight?" i asked. i was shocked. my nora briar got into a fist fight.
"yeah. it's a long story." she said.
"alright well i'll catch you later." i said as i ran to my car.

nora's point of view:

alecia and i talked for awhile longer until we heard the front door open once again. this time, it was christian.
"mom! i'm home!" he yelled.
"i'm in the kitchen chris!" she yelled back.
"hey momma... oh hey nor, what are you doing here?" he asked.
"i just came to drop off your jersey, since i wasn't able to give it back to you earlier." i said as i handed it to him.
"thanks." he smiled.
"nora you are welcome to stay for dinner, if you'd like." alecia said.
"i actually better get going, thank you for the offer." i said as i stood up.
"oh well maybe another time. it was a pleasure meeting you sweetheart." she said as she hugged me.
"the pleasure was mine alecia." i smiled.
"i'll walk you home." christian said.
"alright. bye alecia thank you again!" i said.
"no problem honey!" she said as christian closed the door. we walked only two steps and he brought it up.
"you got into a fight?" he asked. he stopped walking.
"yeah." i muttered as i looked down at my shoes.
"why?" he asked.
"see, this is why i didn't want to tell you. i knew you'd be disappointed." i sighed.
"yes i am, because you're better than that! you don't need to go and fight some low life bitch like quinn nora!" he exclaimed.
"i know christian." i started to cry.
"come here." he said as he hugged me.
"come on, let's walk." he said as he held my hand.
"she hit me first, and i didn't know what else to do. after all the years of getting taken for granted and being made fun of, i finally cracked. i'm sorry." i said as i wiped away a tear.
"hey, baby, shit happens. you had a reason to get into that fight. i know you wouldn't do something like that for no reason." he said as he kissed my forehead. i stopped.
"christian what are we? what do you want to be? do you really like me?" i asked him.
"nora. i'm in love with you. i want to be with you." he said.
"then make a move you pussy!" i laughed.
"me! you're the one who's playing hard to get!" he exclaimed.
"i am not!" i rolled my eyes.
"oh shut up!" he said as he kissed me. HE FUCKING KISSED ME. he pulled back and finally asked.
"will you be my girlfriend?"
"yes, a million times yes." i said as i smiled. he kissed me again and i felt like i was on top of the world.
