Marilyn felt like the stress of the divorce is getting to be too much and decides to go to Paris to getaway.

She is getting dressed when there is a knock on her hotel room door. Excitedly she runs to the door and opens it to see the love of her life standing there.

"Arthur, I'm so glad to see you," she says before kissing him passionately.

"I'm happy to see you too, but I'm more happy to hear that you're finally leaving Kennedy," Arthur says pulling Marilyn closer.

"Yes, I'm so close to getting all the money that we can finally be together! You can finally leave that job of yours," Marilyn says kissing him again.

"You know we can just get him taken out, and you wouldn't have to go through all this. You can get his money and his insurance policy. That way I can start my business and you can start your clothing line." Arthur says sitting down on Marilyn's bed.

"Arthur, I don't want to kill him. We can still get his money, it's just going to take some time. He was good to me Arthur," Marilyn says.

"Still think of all the money you could collect! You said his insurance policy is worth a few hundred million plus what he's worth we'll be a couple million short of being billionaires," Arthur says rubbing his hands together.

"Arthur I can't kill him and I won't! I would rather just ring him dry than to have his blood on our hands. Besides he is the President of the United States, that wouldn't be just any ordinary investigation," Marilyn states.

"You're right. So how much longer until this is all over?"

"I don't know, probably another month. Especially now that he admitted to getting his whore pregnant. They're going to re-decide how much he will have to pay me in alimony."

Arthur shakes his head and looks at the clock. "So now it's just a matter of time."

Back in the US...

One of the aides standing in for Mrs. Lincoln is separating the President and First Lady's mail when she accidentally putting Arthur's love letter in with the President's mail.

She takes it into his office and hands the stack of mail to him before walking back out. Jack takes his letter opener and begins to go through his mail.

He gets to Arthur's letter and opens it. Not paying much attention he turns the paper around and proceeds to read the letter. As he read more and more he becomes angry.

All this time his wife was only using him and playing him for a fool. Once he finished the letter he instantly picked up the phone and called his lawyer.

Later on that night...

He is pacing back and forth in his bedroom. He can't believe he could have been so naive, so stupid. All the expensive trips overseas that he could never go with her, especially when she knew his schedule wouldn't allow him to getaway.

According to that letter, Marilyn and Arthur will be celebrating their 10th anniversary this month. Meaning that she and Arthur have been together before they got together.

Marilyn has been seeing this man the entire course of their relationship. They have only been together and married for a total of six years.

When they met she portrayed herself as a single woman who had just been through a bad breakup. He wanted to be a knight in shining armor and save her from the throes of loneliness. He couldn't have been more wrong.

He is hurt and angry because at one point in time he had loved Marilyn very much and hoped that they would make it.

Now he can't wait to get rid of the conniving witch. His only hope is that showing this letter in court will put the proceedings more in his favor. It also shows that even though he has been unfaithful for a short time, his wife has never been faithful from the very beginning.
