Jackie leaving the doctor's office on her way to her pharmacy learning that she has gestational high blood pressure. In other words, she needed to lighten up her workload and try not to stress with her and Jack still being the hot topic on Capitol Hill and of the press. Of course, if she didn't take care of herself she will have bigger problems to deal with.

She has just arrived in her office when she receives a phone call from an unknown number.

"Hello,"

"I hope you're happy," says the familiar voice on the other end of the phone.

"Um, may I ask who this is?" Jackie replies trying to figure out the voice.

"Don't act like you're surprised Jacqueline Bouvier, you know exactly who this is."

Jackie stops for a minute and she recognizes the voice.

"Mrs. Kennedy, why are you calling me? How did you get my cell number?" Jackie asks wondering why is this woman calling her now.

"Don't worry about that, let's just say my husband left his phone lying around and I decided we needed to have a little chat."

"I'm not really sure what there is for us to talk about?"

"Don't play innocent with me. You knew exactly what you were doing weren't you Jackie?"

"Doing what? I never intended to get involved with your husband," Jackie says before she is cut off.

"Please don't give me the 'oh it just happened,' or the 'we were only supposed to be friends.'"

"I don't even think we were supposed to be friends. I never thought it would have gone as far as it did. Besides Marilyn, why does it matter to you any way you didn't really love him!?"

"I did love him before you came along and ruined everything!"

"Stop it, Marilyn, you only loved him for his money; you were never really there for him. Why would you promise him a family and then later renege on what you promised? But you're too busy spending his money to really care."

"Oh shut up, you're starting to sound like him. [mockingly]: 'you promised me a family, I thought you loved me.' He's pathetic."

Jackie shakes her head. "What do you want Marilyn? You know some of us have real jobs to do other than spend our spouses' hard-earned money."

"Bitch, if you must know Jack has never had a job a day in his life so it's not like he knows what it is like to earn or to struggle. His father gave him his so-called "money." He didn't earn it; it was given to him. He may seem like he can identify or sympathize with the common man, but Jack is far from common. You and I both know that.

"First Marilyn, how dare you call me a bitch. I didn't disrespect you, so don't disrespect me. Anyway, that doesn't mean he still can't help. Just because he may have never worked before doesn't mean he can't empathize with the common person." Jackie replies sharply.

"Whatever Jackie, you know what I hope you and him are happy together! You can ruin your figure to give him a little bastard baby. Besides all the children in that family are barbarians, and your child will fit right in..." was all she heard Marilyn say before hanging up on her.

She isn't going to let that bitter woman upset her, especially insult her unborn child. She takes a couple of deep breaths calming herself before she attempts to do some work before going home.

...

Jack is meeting with one of the best jewelers picking out an engagement ring for Jackie. He knows he loves her and this time it feels right.

He doesn't have to second guess and his friends have given their approval. Most importantly he wants his child to grow up with both parents, especially with two parents who love each other.

He settles on a diamond and emerald ring which he thinks is perfect and reminds him of the hint of green in Jackie's hazel eyes.

His only hope that this time he is right and that Jackie is his true love.
